One of my fave dive sites! Have seen a manatee, lemon sharks, rays, seahorses and an octopus! HIGHLY recommend the night dives there, amazing!!

This was my first time diving at the bridge and I loved it! Night diving here sounds amazing! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

I only got to make one dive there last January and hope to do many more. I didn't get to see as much cool stuff as you did. You pretty much named many things that are on my 'target' list of species that I hope to see diving. Can't wait to get back down there. Cheers

Yes there's always a little bit of current. East Bridge is nice. West Bridge and red wall also have alot of life and coral formations. Lots of eels on the west side as well.

Thanks for your fun video. I was wondering - you mentioned you got there "early." So, can parking be a problem if you don't do that? And how far are you carrying all your dive gear from your parked car to where you enter the water? Lastly, did you plan your dive to reach the surface near where you parked/entered? My son and I were looking at going around 4pm this May 18th (a Saturday) with a guide from Jacksonville. But I'm concerned about a long carry of equipment. I'm an older guy. Any thoughts appreciated.

We usually show up at least an hour before slack tide(whatever time that is)...then we can take our time getting ready. Sometimes the parking area gets pretty full, but theres always parking, it just may be further from the beach area, but it's only like a 50 yard walk if you have to park in the back. When I did this particular video there was construction so we had to walk up and over the bridge, instead of underneath straight to the beach. You'll be fine...the parking lot is right up against the beach and you just walk under the bridge. The beach is pretty small, so as long as you make your way back to the beach area, you'll have a short walk back to your car after the dive! Enjoy!

Fun place to snorkel. One thing that cought my attention is the amount of people with diving flags. Even people snorkeling 😅. I fully support having good practices but there is literally no reason to use them within the marked area.

Manatees come inland to the rivers and springs in the winter with January being the most likely month to see them (I think). I'm a FL native not living there anymore.
