The title makes it sound like it's just about who created the roblox "oof" sound effect (Tommy claims he did, even though it's now proven he didn't, because he knew if he actually had made it then he could be entitled to royalties back payments for it). But the video just keeps going because hbomberguy keeps uncovering more and more insane lies of Tommy's, you won't believe the things he tries to claim. This was a wonderful bite-sized Xmas reminder of the Amico saga (I can't believe Tommy had so many shills). But the Magnum Opus award goes to H-BomberGuy's 2-HOUR deep-dive into the clout-chasing dishonesty of Talirico. It's titled after the Roblox ooff.
Having grown up in the 1980s with the Intellivision as my first console, I really was pulling for this new version. But Pat took an objective eye towards it and tempered my enthusiasm. It turns out Pat was right the whole time
It could have been okay as a budget family alternative to the Switch at about $100-$150 but as soon as I saw the price tag, I knew it was never happening. I mean, their entire business plan was "less gameplay options, all simple games" and actually expected people to buy it AT THE SAME PRICE because "DURRRR Nintendo Switch is too complicated and HARDCOREZ for families!!1".
You should definitely definitely watch hbomberguy's video about the Amico and about how Tommy Tallarico is the biggest lying fraud in video games, it's brilliant and hilarious. The title makes it seem like the video is about discovering who made the roblox "oof" sound effect, but yeah it turned into this feature length documentary when hbomberguy kept on discovering more and more insane things that Tommy Tallarico did, including basically fraud, when it came to constantly asking for more money for the Amico time and time again despite never producing anything at all with those millions of dollars. Tommy Tallarico is just a compulsive fraudulent liar. It's sad that Intellivision had to die because of him, a new Intellivision mini console or handheld could be really cool and fun, playing only games from the 80s or whatever. But Tommy promised a new modern console, stole millions of dollars from fans for it, and then never even made a prototype let alone produce the actual finished thing. He should probably be in prison. Even his Guinness world records are literally lies. As in he printed them out himself and bought a frame to put them in but even Guinness themselves had to basically admit he was a liar after hbomberguy emailed them about these records he claims to have. But yeah the video at least begins with Tommy claiming he created the roblox "oof" sound because he realised there was big money in royalties if that was the case. Problem was, he never created it, and so him constantly lying about it led hbomberguy to keep uncovering more and more lies of his. It's really sad and pathetic, the guy is a multi millionaire but is somehow deeply insecure and is that kind of liar everyone knew one of when they were schoolkids, who lies about banging all the girls and his dad being a famous football player and all sorts of ridiculous bollocks like that. Having made millions of dollars in your industry and being (at least until the video came out) pretty well respected in that industry, apparently isn't enough for Tommy. I've never laughed so hard in my life wow what a great video really encapsulate the insanity of the intellivision Amico Saga and the buffoons that enabled it.
It was great they provided lots of laughs for years with their delusions and contradictions and gaslight attempts lol like hours of weekly insanity, of course not all of it was hilarious but the amount they put out guaranteed some cream constantly
And the funniest thing is that Evercade a company that had no former history in the console market and nowhere near the financial backing that Intellivision had released like three fully functional consoles with a good ever growing lineup of games for those systems and the Amico team could never even release one console in that timespan........

"soft", none of them challenged TT. Also the comments were full of Amico shills, particularly a guy called "P Ferrera" whom I jokingly called "Tommy" and he went nuts proclaiming Tommy as the greatest human being to ever walk the earth. Slopes later released a fairly lame apology video and I hear he's now working on an Amico Kickscammers video. I'm not sure how many subscribers Slopes lost, but for me his integrity went down like Hindenberg airship...

Imagine how embarrassing it would be to be immortalized in this video. Just a gallery of wannabes on the fringes of the gaming community desperate to be more important and in the know than they actually were. They rallied around a fraud and lashed out at anyone who dared to question their cult. It was INSANE to watch happen in real time and I was so happy you guys kept poking the sad boy hornet's nest.
Always makes me sad to see John Riggs between them. He always seemed (still seems) to be a very nice guy. I wonder if he'll ever come up with an Amico video in the future.

This was a wonderful bite-sized Xmas reminder of the Amico saga (I can't believe Tommy had so many shills). But the Magnum Opus award goes to H-BomberGuy's 2-HOUR deep-dive into the clout-chasing dishonesty of Talirico.
It's titled after the Roblox ooff.
Having grown up in the 1980s with the Intellivision as my first console, I really was pulling for this new version. But Pat took an objective eye towards it and tempered my enthusiasm. It turns out Pat was right the whole time
to be honest at first it looked like a cool project, with the free android app and the moon patrol demo... to bad it went downhill from there
It could have been okay as a budget family alternative to the Switch at about $100-$150 but as soon as I saw the price tag, I knew it was never happening.
I mean, their entire business plan was "less gameplay options, all simple games" and actually expected people to buy it AT THE SAME PRICE because "DURRRR Nintendo Switch is too complicated and HARDCOREZ for families!!1".
You should definitely definitely watch hbomberguy's video about the Amico and about how Tommy Tallarico is the biggest lying fraud in video games, it's brilliant and hilarious. The title makes it seem like the video is about discovering who made the roblox "oof" sound effect, but yeah it turned into this feature length documentary when hbomberguy kept on discovering more and more insane things that Tommy Tallarico did, including basically fraud, when it came to constantly asking for more money for the Amico time and time again despite never producing anything at all with those millions of dollars. Tommy Tallarico is just a compulsive fraudulent liar. It's sad that Intellivision had to die because of him, a new Intellivision mini console or handheld could be really cool and fun, playing only games from the 80s or whatever. But Tommy promised a new modern console, stole millions of dollars from fans for it, and then never even made a prototype let alone produce the actual finished thing. He should probably be in prison.
Even his Guinness world records are literally lies. As in he printed them out himself and bought a frame to put them in but even Guinness themselves had to basically admit he was a liar after hbomberguy emailed them about these records he claims to have.
But yeah the video at least begins with Tommy claiming he created the roblox "oof" sound because he realised there was big money in royalties if that was the case. Problem was, he never created it, and so him constantly lying about it led hbomberguy to keep uncovering more and more lies of his. It's really sad and pathetic, the guy is a multi millionaire but is somehow deeply insecure and is that kind of liar everyone knew one of when they were schoolkids, who lies about banging all the girls and his dad being a famous football player and all sorts of ridiculous bollocks like that. Having made millions of dollars in your industry and being (at least until the video came out) pretty well respected in that industry, apparently isn't enough for Tommy. It's just sad, he's a grown ass adult ass man.

"soft", none of them challenged TT. Also the comments were full of Amico shills, particularly a guy called "P Ferrera" whom I jokingly called "Tommy" and he went nuts proclaiming Tommy as the greatest human being to ever walk the earth.
Slopes later released a fairly lame apology video and I hear he's now working on an Amico Kickscammers video. I'm not sure how many subscribers Slopes lost, but for me his integrity went down like Hindenberg airship...
