Hello so happy I found your channel , I traced a pattern from a book that has darts inside the pattern , I used the internal line tool cloned as a pattern however my darts came out as shapes and not cut out like darts would be in clo, maybe I should have trace them with the dart tool? this why that tool is there as an internal line tool?! I tried to select my traced darts and make them into a hole but did not work , any suggestions ?Thank you !
@@BobbinTalk thanks for your quick response, but I'm curious to know if the internal line has to be Symmetrical. I want to have two symmetrical pattern pieces but only an internal line on one piece. Thank you!
how do I assign the internal line to a different pattern piece? For example if I have a pocket and wish to create the same shaped internal shape on my front piece to sew it on
Im trying to cut in a line. it doesn't work. its just an internal line, I need a cut line. I don't understand why the program kgs so crap./

Is it possible to change the color of the internal line? Mine is red
The color does not change. Red is not an internal line. That’s probably a base line.
Is it possible to have a symmetrical pattern but a non symmetrical internal line inside?
You can do whatever internal lines you like inside the pattern. Use any of the internal line, rectangle, ellipse, tools to create shapes or a line.

Yes you can as long as they are not linked. (No linked editing on those patterns)
How do I make the inside of a closed internal line a different colour?? Please I've been trying to figure it out for so long
What functionality are you trying to achieve? Just changing color inside of a line doesn’t explain what that is?

im an idiot, figured I could just ctrl c and v it onto it :D
