Nanny, thanks for sharing, and thank you for being a foster mother. It’s a very important job. I’m sure you were a wonderful foster mom, of course we all have our moments. It’s a lovely morning here in NC. The high is supposed to be 66 and the sun ☀️ is brightly shining, it feels so good to my bones. I told you in another comment that I’m ill. I am in end stage renal failure, which means I have dialysis three times a week and I absolutely hate it !! I’m just being honest. You have to sit very still for four hours while the machine cleans out all your blood. I’m not on a transplant list for a kidney yet because I have another illness called calcphilaxis , it causes phosphorus to build up in your blood vessels…..sometimes I get so down and have always been a very happy go lucky kinda gal….don’t get me wrong this isn’t a pity party as I do have good days where I definitely laugh ! Oh I also lost part of my left leg due to diabetes and that’s also why I’m in kidney failure. I didn’t do what I was supposed to with my diabetes. I ate and drank what I wanted and refused to take insulin. I thought the Metformin was good enough….WRONG. I’m so happy to see you take good care of yourself as I’m 51 and a mess lol. Okay, enough with the depressing talk. Again thank you so much for just being YOU ! Much love ❤️ and hugs 🤗. 🙏🏼❤️🕊️

When you say you only had 15 to 19 year old foster children . I think you have just as much hard work to put in to keep them happy. I worked with 7 to 11year olds at youth club and was asked to work with 11 to 16 years old but I couldn't do it. I didn't have enough patience. I did same a you when it was birthdays and Christmas I had a new coat or decent boots from my mum. That's what we did then.😂
