Closed beta is live and has I think 4 chapters, and a couple characters to unlock. Seems like some shard currency which might take a little bit to farm or win through races. Let me know what you guys think of the game!

Played through the first chaper, part of the 2nd, and tried a few events. It's just okayish for me. With the upgrading system, you can tell that after release people that don't spend tons of $$$ for quick upgrades will never see their name on the leaderboards. Wish it was just a straight up kart game like Mario Kart, Sonic & All-Stars Racing, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, etc. instead of a mobile microtransaction game for PC. That slow-motion crap needs to be completely removed too.

@@Might-Be-Ai true. I was watching it and thought how slow it looks and then I see the speeds of 115 km/h or more when they use a speed boost. It is prettd disappointing. But nevertheless kids will buy it or their parents will because it is from disney and they like the characters so they'll sadly still earn money.
For those impressed by the quality, remember Split Second was a Disney game
One thing for certain Disney always had the big budget
Split/Second at least didn't look like anything else (and looked so much better). This however looks a lot like Asphalt 9 from the same developers. :/
I'm surprised that they didn't include Cars. I mean, a Disney racing game sounds very natural for them to be in.
They’ll probably be added later or maybe revealed before or during release, they already revealed a Monsters INC season with characters from that movie, I’ll bet they do it with Cars too. Maybe they need Porche’s copyright to include Sally?

The game has characters driving cars. It would look quite odd for McQueen to be driving a Speedster kart 🤣💙

I fear its not cause racing should appear blistering in appearance and the sense of speed in this is horrendous and apparent.
Don't worry , they will add more high speed cars later like in asphalt 9

this game is free to play so it's a free download. The only thing I don't like about this game is that every car looks identical to each other (I say cars because they are cars not karts) i will admit that this game looks awesome! Graphics are awesome! Gameplay looks so damn fun. I'm definitely downloading this.

This is a typical mobile game. Chapters, daily logins, mission, getting shards to unlock/upgrade the tier of a character, leveling them up. I regretted to pay for it.
So hyped for it.. Been waiting for something like this.. Even CTR ain't on pc. Well now that we'll have this, I don't need to re-play CTR anymore.
This is like FIFA and that Car Soccer game merging with Disney.
It's also very similar to Need for Speed: World (previously known as Need for Speed: World Online)
The problem as many have mentioned is the sense of speed. When jack sparrows car has speed boost. That's the speed it shoukd be at base level and then add more and use wisely. If you make these types of games too easy. The older gamer gets bored. Graphics fidelity is very nice.
Are they playing the "Mickey Mouse Club" theme when you play as Mickey?
I can't wait for it to release I hope it is not a pay to win game but only time will tell
Driving looks a bit stiff, they should have heavily implemented the drifting like Marion kart

Looks phenomenal but the race tracks need to be more complex. Too easy to master = short term interest and less replay value.

I'm asking because I have also fresh gaming channel on different account but most of the time I mute music.. Beside game like Guardians of the Galaxy when there's a streaming mode using non-copyright music. Is there a other way to check that? Thanks in advance ✌🏻

It looks awesome. Just one thing to be changed, when the car gets turbo boost (dragging or passing on turbo Switch on the floor) the Kart goes far for an instant and then It comes again to the natural position.
Those "camera jumps" everytime you do a turbo is ...annoying
Looks pretty, the sound design is peerless, and I love the music.
But this is just Asphalt 9 reskinned.
