Got my 24 FE last week, its been nothing but amazing, got it for 400 dollars off the normal S24 in my country. And its been nothing but amazing. Upgraded from a S20+ and i can tell you now its fantastic. Build quality is superb, display is bright and crisp, everything looks sharper and better. Camera is surprisingly really good and videos too, i've immediately seen the quality upgrade from my S20. Battery life too is amazing, i can get through a day with 40-50% usage from a charge and that's with light heavy usage. So i'd definitely say if you can get yours on a discount or cheaper than normal S24 its 100% worth it. Ask me any questions if you guys have any.
Does it feel really big in the hand?

@@yassinbakkali7178 I would say if you haven't had any "large" phones before, it definitely will feel big compared to a normal sized phone. I would say it's more tall than big, like you can't touch the top and bottom with one hand. one holds and the other taps/swipes

Bezels
I will still go for Samsung S24 plus. It has better chipset. It is ultra sonic for unlocking the phone. It's bezels are near perfect. It just an all round phone. Performance is very important for me.
I got the 24Fe and not a single issue with the fingerprint, dare i say its better and snappier than my old S20+. i think the performance of the different fingerprint tech these days is not that drastic as the specs make it seem, plus the cpu too, so far the 2400e is bladdy amazing for being underclocked.
@@icehawk147 yeah samsung probably has good fingerprints sensors unlike the older google pixels.
@@icehawk147 me too.i used it for 2weeks till now and i didn`t have a single eroor from fp sensoor.the only problem is the whight.a little heavy.
@@icehawk147 No one says you would have issues with the sensor. It's not just as fast as the ultrasonic. You won't know until you place them side by side.
@@peteradeosun6736 i think the difference these days is negligible and plus who actually sits there and goes "omg my phone unlocks 0.5seconds faster than yours" lol
In India, the regular S model is almost similarly priced as the new FE models, making the FE models a bad choice.
I guess the extra ram may be godd for futureproofing, but my S20 FE still works well enough for my needs with just 6 GB of ram.
Watching on my s24+ it's a superb phone!

S24 FE is A55 with more extra features. The S24 plus is much better. The screen is LTPO, the vibration heptic much better, 12Gb of ram, it has real proximity sensor, ultrasonic fingerprint, and better speaker.
Are you sure you know all differences between the two phones!!😂

But in everyday life, the average user wouldn't even notice those features

Maybe, but don't you notice faster fingerprint? Don't you notice slim bezzel? Don't you notice a brighter screen? If you don't notice that so why didn't you get A55 instead? It still has a good processor, camera, and display.
The things you don't notice make the flagship more expensive, so if you don't care, go directly to mid range phones
@@Mahmoud-Abdalla The FE is a midrange... it's a midrange that happens to be closer in line with the flagships. N the price is gonna drop a who lot faster then the plus. So with a little patience it's very reasonable that someone could by an s24 FE for the current going price of the A55. you're argument of it can't compete with the flagship therefore buy a worse phone doesn't make any sense. That's like saying of your can't buy the s24 ultra don't buy the s24 plus just buy the s24.

Could anyone comment on the differences in quality of the audio recorder, is there a difference between S24 FE and S24 plus?
I'm planning on using the phone mainly for voice recordings, and noticed a big difference in quality from the S24 to S24 Plus.
They didn't have the S24 FE and S24 Ultra there, so I couldn't compare.
And opinions on this?

S24 snapdragon version! Or 23 ultra! Avoid exynos phones!
They S23U has snapdragon and is getting all the software updates. It's a matter of choice.
Ordered s23 ultra but sadly had to return it as it was an open box. Ordered s24 plus, for an average user s24 plus is great. Screen on time varies it will be around 5/ 5.5 hrs mkxed 5g wifi usage. 18 20 hrs total time. But instances will be there whre it will be 4.5 hrs with 13 hrs total time.
If you not planning to keep your phone for more than 3 years then S23U better choice.

I agree! I dont think there is much of a better deal out there right now.
Even a phone from last year cannot beat it. You get 7 years of updates + ai features and a rock solid phone capable of mostly everything.
you really think a exynos processor can handle 7 year of update, even iPhone after 5 year of update when gets its last 5th update works shit

Man seems like a lot of people in this comment section really trying to defend their s24+ purchases. I plan to get an s24+ but if a find a good deal on the s24+ the FE is a close backup plan.
My only complain on my s24+ is the speaker. My old s9+ sounds way better.
24 plus has pitiful speakers for a cellphone that costs a thousand bucks.
In India both are in same price now then why buy FE , I bought and Watching on my s24+ right now.
In terms of display, PPI (pixels per inch) does matter somewhat, and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus has a higher PPI than most other phones.

Gud thing i bought my s24fe with 512gb for $589
i could tell them apart by they black bezels

Been using the phone but it at a great trade in deal, the exynos performance is great but the battery is not so good even with power saving I'm just getting 4hr SOT with 20% left

Well if you ask for a better value phone, there obviously are, and from Samsung itself. The regular S23 is far better than the FE and falls in the same price bracket. Even S24 is cheap enough during the sales.

Well the exynos is close up to the S.D3 which yk may know performs better than a S.D2.So the fe would perfom better than every s23 series and keep up with the s24series so yk may tale in acc to get one but if you really don't and want he s.d version then u can go for it.
I got my FE last week, performance is a beast, people need to stop complaining about exynos, they pretty damn good chipsets now

I would still pay extra for the Snapdragon S24+. The full blown Exynos 2400 could not keep up with the Snapdragon and blows through battery when not on WiFi so a slower version doesn't sound great to me.
Also with the camera shots - You used the best lighting conditions possible where most cameras look good. Higher end cameras show their worth in more challenging conditions (night, will in motion, etc)
Just shows the lack of innovation and how overpriced Samsung flagships are
No-one needs phones that large.
They say 6.7 inch screen but the phones are 6.25 inches tall
