I think everyone is over thinking it. I think when we listen to critique or with an ear of pride we can’t receive it. It’s literally the relationship between man and Christ. But I definitely agree. Bring him in and let him break it down
I love you so much my brothers. Love every episode. I can't believe there are men like you out there. I pray my husband gets to this level. I'm from South Africa.
Love this convo. That whole idea of “knowing” God is my life motto. In Greek “know” is ginōskō, meaning Experiential knowledge. I believe to Know Him is to Experience Him. As many of y’all mentioned, when we truly experience Him we don’t want to leave Him. And yes Jesus is enough!
Today, I heard a clip of Jackie Perry talking about the same thing. This spoke to my heart & spirit. After going through heartbreak, I hated my heart & asked God why he made me this way. Eventually, I realized I couldn't let someone's action changed how God made me❤❤
Such a great conversation. Refreshing that I'm not alone in not understanding some of these holy and truthful mysteries. But thankful He has kept me and allowed me to be drawn to Him and personally experience Him through encounters. To say, God, I may not understand; I am not all-knowing like You are; my thoughts are not as high as Your thoughts, but I thank You for that covenant protection and the encounters that keep me trusting in the unknown.
Respectfully, I believe when Jesus cried out, “My God why have you forsaken me” he was actually quoting Psalm 22 which was a scripture that depicted his crucifixion. And In his time of suffering He was fulfilling the word that was written about him quoting it aloud. Because before He was arrested he told his disciples John 16:32 ALL of you will leave me but my Father will NEVER leave me. I really have a problem with the thought process that God would have abandoned His only son that became a sacrifice. I feel like people have totally gotten that wrong! Otherwise I agree with Jerry’s perspective because I personally know people who have become people I no longer know due to choices that they have made…
By far one of the best and dopest conversations I heard in my christian journey in a long time. I appreciate you guys being a vessel for the body of christ. Kingdom motivation, great conversations .
GREAT discussion, fellas. I think this is one of those issues that’s cut and dry. “I never knew you,” means exactly what it sounds like. Many of us believe that because we say, “Jesus is Lord,” we’re good. But only God knows if we’ve actually made Him Lord of our lives. Saying it is one thing; doing it is a whole other ballgame. There will come a day when some will cry, “Lord, Lord” and He will reply, “depart from me ... I never knew you.” This is why we must be more committed than ever to making disciples. The end is drawing near and we’re sleeping on our posts.
All of you guys are on point with your reflections. You all are such inspiration for a fallen generation of men…… FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS. However, whenever I hear “James” speak, it’s like hearing my very own thoughts! BTW: I’m not a man lol, but, I can still relate to his thoughts.
Knew speaks to relationship. How can anyone “know” anyone who doesn’t develop [walk in] relationship with them, hides (attempts to hide from God) who they are OR walks with God outwardly while inwardly their hearts are far from Him? Know - Have developed a relationship with (someone) through meeting and spending time with them; be familiar or friendly with. Hebrew (Yada) - be acquainted/ familiar with, recognize. In this context, I believe it speaks to “You were never my friend.” "Friendship" signifies a close, intimate relationship with God based on trust and obedience. Requirement for friendship with God: Faith followed by obedience.
🙏🏽♥️🤗The Bottom Line is Our Level Of Faith. The More We Hear / Read The Word, Will We Believe It, Live It And Pass The Word On, To Continue To Create The Church. Great Lessons!!!!!…. Thank You All So Much For This Profound Conversation.🤗♥️🙏🏽
This is a really great conversation. Keep it simple, JESUS is the way, the truth, and the life! Let The Lord take care of the hard things because HE'S more than able!
We have to look at the previous verses before Jesus said, “I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness!” People were going about doing things in Jesus’ name, but they didn’t have a relationship with Him. Isaiah 29:13, Therefore the Lord said, “Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from me..”.
I walked around for many years thinking that I was saved however I was operating out of My flesh it's okay to say I believe Jesus Christ died for my sins but if you're not walking in the spirit living by the power of the holy Spirit there is no way to be saved outside of the holy Spirit 💞🔥💞
My understanding is that God never knew the person who didn't accept His Son to be able to develop an intimate relationship with Him. If you don't accept Jesus, how can you walk in the purpose that God originally created you for? So it seems to me that there's a combination of accepting Jesus and then walking in the purpose that he intended for you in the womb. We have free will so if we don't make the choice to submit our will to God's will for our life, how can he know us?
"I never knew you" means God wasn't inside of you when you did what you did. That's how "intimacy" Pastor Flowers mentions is being applied correctly. God will do a miracle for the sake of those receiving the miracles. But the one preaching gets no credit unless he lives within them. He was rightly dividing in that Word of Truth
I know God knows all. But some of us act like He never knew us because He thought He knew us but we did a switch up. I think that makes sense. What he said was a bit confusing. I need him to make it more plain for some of us simple folk. Thanks for this talk.
This is a very interesting conversation and I am here for it . Id like more of this . But now I have been open to a new interpretation, I never thought to see as from the womb and and than how we are formed and shaped out in the world .
When he said never knew you I truly feel like God may was referring too like when somebody you thought you knew breaks your heart and you realize you never knew who that person actually was because they turned out to be a monster. Thats what I think idk though.
Matthew 7:23 is for non believers not believers. People who outwardly profess faith, but do not live a life aligned with their beliefs. “Never knew you” does not mean Jesus was unaware of their existence, but rather he didn’t recognize them as having a genuine relationship with him.
He took it out of context Jeremiah was a message to Daniel because they were in captivity and would be there for decades and he was giving him hope by the message
That whole thing is DUMB. Why are we always looking for something new and interesting? The scripture says that whoever gives their life to Christ will be saved - Whether we become exactly what he wanted or not. It ain't complicated.
I believe that like in Romans 8 it talks about predestination before God even formed the earth I believe that he knew who would say yes and who would not so those who he said depart from me I never knew you I believe that they were people that never accepted Jesus Christ and they didn't accept him even in eternity 💞🔥💞
What he says sounds deep but it is only he is taking the passages out of context. When Jesus said "I never knew you", he used a common renunciation formula in the first century. It means that the person is no longer recognized as a disciple and that the personal relationship is totally severed with no acknowledgment, fellowship, or friendship. It is not different from the way we use "you are dead to me". There is no need to take it out of context and make an artificial connection with Jer 1:5 who was given to a different person in a totally different context. Yes, "it will preach" but it is not from the Word of God. We should indeed preach, but it must be the Word of God, not our own thoughts and ideas.
Before I read your comment, I just started thinking to myself, but wasn’t he talking to a specific group of people when he said I never knew you so then I was like it actually doesn’t make sense what he’s saying
Awesome job Gentlemen, for this one we might need to go to the Hebrew and greek root words for this one. Context also counts as well. Jeremiah was a young man, and I think it's Peter Jesus was talking to, may have been a grown man. Open to correction on their ages
Soooo many people misinterpret the I never knew scripture and put their own understanding on it. If you believe that theres too much sin or a certain amount of prayer and works you have to do to have God know you, youre making yourself your own judge. Your salvation is secured once you accept Jesus as savior period. Its about what Jesus did, not what weve done, thats how we know Jesus. If you read the whole chapter, its speaking to the people who believed that it was their works that get them into heaven, not the saving work of Jesus Christ.
You can’t be anointed to preach cast out devils etc. and still die and go to hell! That’s how my granny explained it to me and it terrified me😂 Jesus said you will know them by their fruit not by their gifts that means you will recognize who is truly saved by their fruit but God will still use your gifts to reach His people if necessary.
Because God is the creator of life he knew of us but because we didn’t build a personal relationship with him he says I never knew you. Just as if a human father abandoned his child as an infant (not saying God abandoned us) left only with the mother the child grows up to be an adult and runs across the father without saying I’m your child the farther would just look at the person because it’s a stranger to him he never knew or got to knew the person but he knows he had a son in the world.
The biggest challenge is he twisted both scriptures to make a point which which confused both verses. He was not talking about salvation he was talking about purpose and our modern favourite topic haters. . He could have pulled off purpose on Jeremiah but then to make it about salvation he messed it up. The gentleman with the As cap who said we pre existed our birth based on Jeremiah is not correct. We are created beings do not preexist our conception. The gent who said God is calvinist and we are Armenian killed it. Wow.
I also think we need to keep Salvation 101, simple and just say. JESUS! John 3:16. Share Jesus with people by telling them what He did for you that you could've never done for yourself which is He saved, sanctified, and filled you! He is GOOD uninterrupted and regardless of circumstances He is GOOD as both noun (source) and adjective/verb/adverb! GOOD!
Well basically,GOD is speaking directly to Jeremiah, he probably needed that on that day, I believe GOD is all knowing, but also, that Jeeimiahs story is not my story, yes I can equate for inspiration and courage, but not to the point of displacing the life of Jeremiah for my own, I mean the Bible reads as it does, and all of the extra stuff , just for the sake of being deep is not needed, remember it is supposed to be so simple that a child can understand, good post though
It is confusing, not straight forward for especially the workd to understand. Depending on how much of the word you understand. A babe in christ would be confused. I do get what he is saying though. Should just be more clear.
We have no choice but to accept we were always known by The Father prior to taken on fleshly form. The Lord literally breathes the breath of life into us for us to exist. Our spirit comes from His spirit which is The Spirit. Free will choice, is just that and is given by The Lord. As human beings born into sin and shaped by iniquity, Faith scares us and confuses us because we don't understand it! Scripture tells us (Hebrews) for without Faith, it is impossible to please God so we have to have it! We can't resist the Holy Spirit because God is Faith and He is Faithful so His Faith will always overpower our lack of Faith because there is no lack in God!
Apologies if someone already mentioned this. eir original context to make a point. We don’t have to do that. I actually appreciate Pastor Flowers and his commitment to growth, healing, and pursuing Christ but the biggest flag here is him taking two unrelated scriptures out of the original context to make a decent point. I see where he is going with it but it didn’t quite connect.
Easy...the first one is speaking of factual knowledge. The second reference speaks in terms of relationship. The same sentiment is echoed in Ezekiel 18:24.
Sometimes y'all are in alignment with God's Purpose of y'all lives. Complete what God has set for you and do things for the Glory of Jesus Christ. Honoring God's Word gets you the best gifts. If He has used you in any way somehow you were worthy enough for Him to put your name on it. A good thing for a good thing. REPENT JESUS IS ON THE WAY REPENT REPENT GOD BLESS US ALL
The word is written to believers… the I never ‘KNEW’ you… is about intimacy, relationship…unfortunately, people in the body of Christ think when they do the “works” of the Lord they are Good with God…but in the Spirit, they do not have a pure/ personal relationship with HIM. When we are born again, we are a NEW CREATION IN CHRIST…. He knows them that are HIS…
God is not the author of confusion and I was confused by Mr Flowers conversation.. I will stick to being inspired by the holy spirit for interpretation. jmo
The Lord is speaking to two different groups. One group is His children. The other group are the children of the devil. We gotta stop trying to be deep and let the context be what is was intended to be.
I don’t think it’s this confusing. The context of Matthew 7 starting at verse 13 is this; if you really belong to Jesus, there will be evidence. If there is no evidence, then you need to examine yourself to see if you’re really in the faith, as Paul said, because you could be deceiving yourself. Jerry read that verse out of context. He didn’t even finish the verse and omitted “ you workers of lawlessness.” I think we can’t dance around what Jesus was talking about. He was talking about sending people to hell. Had nothing to do with our “purpose” or “assignment.” It means that Jesus never recognized them as His true followers. I think this is clear in the text. Jesus is using hyperbole to express the idea that it’s possible for people to claim to know Him, but never have saving faith and a real relationship with Him.
Good shows as usual but i wonder if this discussion is not conflating two issues? I believe context is like the foundation for a fruitful and faithful discourse. For that matter i believe the gentleman mixes two different issues. The Jeremiah aspect had to do with God calling his prophet. This inadequate Jeremiah and young, but the point was God is the one who called him even before his was born. That he would be in service to God's purpose to be his voice to them. Jesus on the other hand is talking to people warning them who think their works and doing all things even in his name professing to know him but really have no real relationship with him. Again, it also highlights that he knows his people. He is not gullible that some guys who said In Jesus' name... He knows his own. That is not talking to a lack of knowledge of Christ's part rather rejection of people who weren't truly his people. I think we miss the point to make it discourse on knowledge or lack of. It's not a contradiction or interrogation of God's knowledge of lack of. It's about his sovereign call to of his prophet (God sovereign call to do hia work) and the other a warning concerning to those who might think they are good because they've done certain things but really aren't his. Infact he calls them workers of iniquity (Christ defines who they are not just what they did, despite their actions in his name, at their core they were workers of iniquity. We see a similar thing when Paul speaks of thoae who preach Christ out of wrong motives. So people can do things in his name yet still be far off. So even without going into Greek or Hebrew or whatever, we should ask who was the recipient ofnthe message, how did the overall or underlying message point to Christ and then get to how we are supposed to understand the text to have a faithful meaning. It is true there is transcended truth that is relevant to us but more importantly whay was the author's intent for us. Thanks
He has it backwards though. God wants our heart most of all. What is in the heart is how you will think. He has those two scriptures totally backwards. He knew us before we were born because he created us. When we get to judgement day if we haven’t changed our hearts and fully came to him ,no matter if you a prophet pastor or whatever. It has nothing what he wants us to be. You can be dirt poor and homeless and still have God. Too many intellectuals instead of reading the word for exactly what it says. “We” are literally nothing. Just flesh. He wants our hearts most of all. Then how we think will come.
I have a LOT more reading and studying to do, but here’s what I believe so far. The Word of God is true - both verses are true because they come from the Word of God. The word “know” in the Bible is often used in the context of a commitment like marriage, intimacy. When we are formed in our mother’s womb, He knew us because he created us, and before being born, humanity’s curse of being born in sin doesn’t apply until we are born. Because he cannot dwell with sin, once we are born in sin, until we come back into relationship with Him and repent, we are still in sin. Therefore he doesn’t “know” us because we are in sin, we’re no longer perfect/sinless/holy. The only way to make our way into heaven is to accept Jesus as our Savior and Lord- and we retain his perfect/holiness in God the Father’s eyes by walking out our repented lives in faith and led by the Holy Spirit by sinning no more and repenting daily. So yes, he knew us when we we formed (before we even are bound by sin by birth), and he cannot dwell with sin in eternity unless we accept the gift of Jesus (perfection/holiness).
God can say I never knew you because the sinner never had a relationship with Him through Christ. John 17:3 states that eternal life is to know God through His Son, Jesus Christ.
& "this" where intimacy with THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH leads us & brings divine revelation directly from His throne of grace. Hence: "who do YOU say that I am" ~ Matthew 16:15-17 Amp "He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed), the Son of the living God.” 17 Then Jesus answered him, “Blessed [happy, spiritually secure, favored by God] are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood (mortal man) did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven." Seek ye the ADONAI while He may be found. PRAISE YE YAH!! Amen & shalom🙏💜🕊💯
God's statement, "I never knew you..." is simple - He who is pure and rigjteous and holy and doesn't tolerate sin and wickedness can't partner with those who are filled with iniquity. They are children of Satan and thus, 2 Corinthians 6:14 - (NIV) 14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” This is how and why God Christ says this to those He never knew deeply - they may have received the calling, but failed to be chosen. And if they were never chosen, all their works were of the flesh. And there was no Seal, no mark of Christ - does not the anti-one seek to make a mark of the Beast? Is that evil one not a counterfeit of Him who is Original. Authentic. Genuine? So, then, 17) Therefore, “Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” 18 And, “I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” 7:1 Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
Holy Spirit said to me that you know nothing about Jesus Christ unless I tell it to you you cannot theology degree your way into knowing Christ it's relational 💞🔥💞
Technically no ...on Ed saved always save let me explain why. No one is truly saved until Christ returns: we only strive for salvation. Salvation comes from Christ return and subduing the enemies of the earth and the regathering of the ppl. The separation of the ppl in the Kingdom to those outside the kingdom, that's saved...saved from the wrath of the father 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 in the great and terrible day of the Lord and that's exactly what the scripture detail.
My opinion when God says I never knew u he's saying he never had a PERSONAL relationship with
Agreed.
Agreed. God is all knowing and all seeing. Therefore, it is IMPOSSIBLE for God to not know something.
I believe that’s what Jerry was saying, but in a different way
👏🏾👏🏾
Yes He said intimacy that is the same thing.
Just bring him in so he can break down what he said...
I think everyone is over thinking it. I think when we listen to critique or with an ear of pride we can’t receive it. It’s literally the relationship between man and Christ. But I definitely agree. Bring him in and let him break it down

You have to hear the Word first. That's the start of faith.
Thank you, all the brothers on this episode. The LORD encouraged me through you all.

Greek word for to Know is ginosko: it means to know in a personal sense. You never truly let Him in to have a personal relationship.
By far one of the best and dopest conversations I heard in my christian journey in a long time. I appreciate you guys being a vessel for the body of christ. Kingdom motivation, great conversations .
🙏🏽
Plain, I love that testimony!! God is enough!!!! And it is not about us. We forget that in the prosperity messages floating around now.
Idk where y’all been at on the algorithm but I’m glad y’all popped up I’m following just off this video, I absolutely love these discussions
This convo was awesome! LOVE the wisdom and maturity of the group discussions.

Oh GLORY 💞🔥💞
Great discussion. This is going on my Watch Again playlist - and definitely one to share.
I believe God is saying the person did it for their own glory. Then again, GOD is so big, it could be many reasons when it comes to GOD.
This is a really great conversation. Keep it simple, JESUS is the way, the truth, and the life! Let The Lord take care of the hard things because HE'S more than able!
Loved this discussion 💯🙏🏾
Blessings and love from The Netherlands ❤. The encouragement I received from this conversation. God keep Blessing you all and your families
Same to you!
I wouldn't put those two scripture together. God knows what decisions we would make but He still gives the opportunity for repentance regardless.
We have to look at the previous verses before Jesus said, “I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness!”
People were going about doing things in Jesus’ name, but they didn’t have a relationship with Him.
Isaiah 29:13, Therefore the Lord said, “Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from me..”.
Right and to mention this was partly somewhat of a parable that Jesus was using.
If we all were given a measurement of faith, it's up to us to allow it to grow or remain dormant.
Lord!! This was such an amazing conversation, the Holy Spirit was all over this! God bless you all and anyone who comes across this. Shalom🤲🏾

I love Pastor Jerry Flowers can yall bring him on the show?
Contradictions are guardrails wow!!! This brother is cooking. Wow.
I know God knows all. But some of us act like He never knew us because He thought He knew us but we did a switch up. I think that makes sense. What he said was a bit confusing. I need him to make it more plain for some of us simple folk. Thanks for this talk.
Idk. But I teared up 3 times in this conversation! 😭
‘ he never had a steak or a shrimp’😂😂
God's Presence changes everything!!!
Certain choice sins make you unknowable without repentance
But why we trying to be more deep than we have too?!
…Because ministry has become a business for many.
That Jerry Flower word was powerful and most authentic I heard in a while. Very Prophetic
Really? Perhaps the clip they shared is not enough to clarify what Pastor Flowers intended to say.
GOD SAYING I NEVER DAPPED IT UP WITH YOU,WE NEVER KICKED IT RODE TOGETHER HAD COMMUNICATIONS. NO RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU SIR/MA'AM
Meaning there was no personal relationship with Him.
It’s living in his presence
That’s the truth
Sean that was the best explanation and Plain James went in at the end, and Jeremiah (sorry if I spelled your name wrong). This my favorite one
18:06 come on James!!🙌🏾🙌🏾
This is a very interesting conversation and I am here for it . Id like more of this . I see as if you deny the lord and go about your ow way and do not repent he will say I never knew you is what I thought it to be . But now I have been open to a new interpretation, I never thought to see as from the womb and and than how we are formed and shaped out in the world .
Needs to be taught. The Church has to wake up and get ready for the return of the Bride. We ain’t ready.
The point of accountability
When he said never knew you I truly feel like God may was referring too like when somebody you thought you knew breaks your heart and you realize you never knew who that person actually was because they turned out to be a monster. Thats what I think idk though.

This is why we have to know what the content of scripture so we pull out and not read into the scripture
He took it out of context Jeremiah was a message to Daniel because they were in captivity and would be there for decades and he was giving him hope by the message
Gods omniscience runs counter to any understanding that there is anything about our lives that God does not know. God can never not know anything.
Sean that was the best explanation
That whole thing is DUMB. Why are we always looking for something new and interesting? The scripture says that whoever gives their life to Christ will be saved - Whether we become exactly what he wanted or not. It ain't complicated.
22:12 Amen!
I believe that like in Romans 8 it talks about predestination before God even formed the earth I believe that he knew who would say yes and who would not so those who he said depart from me I never knew you I believe that they were people that never accepted Jesus Christ and they didn't accept him even in eternity 💞🔥💞

If you read the whole chapter, its speaking to the people who believed that it was their works that get them into heaven, not the saving work of Jesus Christ.
8:33 yes!
That was about Isaiah not everyone
The biggest challenge is he twisted both scriptures to make a point which which confused both verses. He was not talking about salvation he was talking about purpose and our modern favourite topic haters. . He could have pulled off purpose on Jeremiah but then to make it about salvation he messed it up. The gentleman with the As cap who said we pre existed our birth based on Jeremiah is not correct. We are created beings do not preexist our conception. The gent who said God is calvinist and we are Armenian killed it. Wow.
22:04 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Hey. WHAT DOES TRACKSTARS THINK OF THE BILLY CARSON VS WES HUFF SITUATION??
I also think we need to keep Salvation 101, simple and just say. JESUS! John 3:16. Share Jesus with people by telling them what He did for you that you could've never done for yourself which is He saved, sanctified, and filled you! He is GOOD uninterrupted and regardless of circumstances He is GOOD as both noun (source) and adjective/verb/adverb! GOOD!
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 25:50
Well basically,GOD is speaking directly to Jeremiah, he probably needed that on that day, I believe GOD is all knowing, but also, that Jeeimiahs story is not my story, yes I can equate for inspiration and courage, but not to the point of displacing the life of Jeremiah for my own, I mean the Bible reads as it does, and all of the extra stuff , just for the sake of being deep is not needed, remember it is supposed
to be so simple that a child can understand, good post though
This!
It is confusing, not straight forward for especially the workd to understand. Depending on how much of the word you understand. A babe in christ would be confused. I do get what he is saying though. Should just be more clear.
I listen to Jerry from time to time so I know his poetic style in bringing forth the word but this should have been more clear. 🙏
REPENT JESUS IS ON THE WAY REPENT REPENT GOD BLESS US ALL
I believe bible versions will create a divide.
I think Christ was giving a future picture of judgement day
The word is written to believers… the I never ‘KNEW’ you… is about intimacy, relationship…unfortunately, people in the body of Christ think when they do the “works” of the Lord they are Good with God…but in the Spirit, they do not have a pure/ personal relationship with HIM.
Calvinists are DEFINITELY WRONG! And where are the other guys getting this pre-existence with the Father from?
Right! The Bible says nothing about the pre existence of souls, that’s a man made idea with no basis in truth
Thanks
What?
We didnt exist before conception!
Let’s not make it complicated. God never knew you and you never knew him. Keep it simple. Jerry is right
Its not that deep.
& "this" where intimacy with THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH leads us & brings divine revelation directly from His throne of grace. Hence: "who do YOU say that I am"
~ Matthew 16:15-17 Amp "He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed), the Son of the living God.” 17 Then Jesus answered him, “Blessed [happy, spiritually secure, favored by God] are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood (mortal man) did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven."
Seek ye the ADONAI while He may be found. PRAISE YE YAH!! Amen & shalom🙏💜🕊💯
God's statement, "I never knew you..." is simple - He who is pure and rigjteous and holy and doesn't tolerate sin and wickedness can't partner with those who are filled with iniquity. They are children of Satan and thus, 2 Corinthians 6:14 - (NIV)
14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”
This is how and why God Christ says this to those He never knew deeply - they may have received the calling, but failed to be chosen.
And if they were never chosen, all their works were of the flesh. And there was no Seal, no mark of Christ - does not the anti-one seek to make a mark of the Beast? Is that evil one not a counterfeit of Him who is Original. Authentic. Genuine?
So, then,
17) Therefore, “Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”
18 And, “I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
7:1 Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
