Igor doesn't do Dimashs Arrangements it's done by Dimash and his sound manager Erlan Bekchurin who is just a genius at his job. Igor composed this after Dimash phoned him and said he wanted him to write an Ave Maria for him to present at the New Wave Festival. It was the last of three new songs he presented last year the others being Stranger and FLY Away. All eagerly awaited by the festival goers 💖

It is a vocalization of three notes followed by a forth higher note. The archangel Gabriel ( Dimash) appears to Mary softly, tenderly to tell her that she will soon have the son of God. The music swells in power with this Annunciation, then ends with the sad foretelling of the future events. What a heavenly song. I cry every time I hear it; I remember with grief the family and friends I have loved and lost. However, I am left with an ethereal feeling of love. And hope. As you said, Dimash is like water running over rocks. Sometimes he takes you over a waterfall, sometimes through powerful rapids, sometimes drifting on a brook meandering though meadows.

Igor described the moment like this : "Italians like to say that any composer is worth exactly as much as his latest work is worth, meaning that all previous achievements do not count... I listened very carefully to the fairly controversial and peremptory statement made by representatives of this very musical country (both in the past and in the present), and began to look at my new compositions from the Italian perspective... I would Samaltau from Tokyo Jazz Festival. Mainly for the incredible instrumentation, but also to hear him sing a more reserved Kazakh folk song. Then Be With Me (Music Video is a must!). This is not one of my favorite songs by him, but many people love it. It is a pop song with Michael Jackson inspiration that will show you another side of him. The video is a mini movie where he plays an interesting character. Lots of fun!

Hi Tony. All suggested performances are "musts", but "Know" New Wave 2019 (white suit, no shirt😵💫) from his own YT channel (has subtitles) could be the thing right now. It showcases pretty interesting vocals. When the song is finished, there is a little something that shows Dimash when he steps out of the character of the song. But thank you for reacting to any of them, I like your somewhat sceptical face!🧐
I like the Ascolta la Voce version...it's a vocalise with a touch of scat. Or you could listen to both and compare them. They share a theme though the arrangements are different--Know with words; Ascolta la Voce without.

Fellow Seattleite here, Tony! (At least for the first 2/3 of my life; now re-located to the Olympic Peninsula). So glad to see you responding to my favorite male singer of all time. Please continue. You'll never be disappointed. As for what's next: How about "Adagio, 2017" (from Chinese reality show, The Singer), "Across Endless Dimensions," "Stranger," "Be With Me," (for something more different than anything else you've seen), "Elim Menin" (for some heavy-duty drum beat Kazakh folk), and "Vocalise" (a mix of Middle East vocal sounds and Ella Fitzgerald skat singing!)
Amongst my favourites are 'Daybreak' performed at Bastau in 2017 and Ikanaide (Japanese version of Autumn Strong which is sung in Chinese). Both performances show so much emotion on top of his virtuosity. For those songs the stories behind the songs are worth knowing before reacting.
DAYBREAK has a backstory that is necessary to understand the emotion to the performance - start with his performance at I Am Singer - DAYBREAK - a cable car disaster in China in 1999, took the lives of 14 tourists - a young couple were able to lift their 2 1/2 year old son to safety, but plummeted to their deaths - this song is written by Han Hong, as a tribute to the parents for the sacrifice of their life for their son - (written from the child's perspective) -y she also adopted that young boy - it's haunting - Dimash first performed this at I AM SINGER/CHINA - he had lost his voice and had received 5 injections but they weren't helping - he did get through the performance but as soon as he finished, he again lost his voice- he performs this at Bastau, later that year and it's even more powerful ~ enjo
Please watch his vocalize performance from his Arnau tour. He sings Know (ascolta la voce), but only the vocalize part of the song without lyrics. An amazing performance, and I always have to mention the band, they are all so committed and into the song it's so beautiful to watch.

At the end, the advanced vocal technique:“Messa De Voce “ (from Italian Bel Canto technique) at the last note sustained 15 seconds on the note C6 . Swell, increase and decrease the volume but don’t change the pitch, it is extremely difficult and only pro vocalists with years of training can do it. For me it is like a prayer for the world that everyone can understand, therefore there is no text in this version of "Ave Maria".

Igor Krutoy (composer and friend of Dimash) revealed the creation of the composition "Ave Maria" for Dimash, a composition that is included in the new album

Igor Krutoy's words:
" Italians like to say that each composer is worth exactly as much as his last work, that is, all the successes and achievements so far do not count ... and now) and I started to perceive my new compositions through the prism of Italians ...
One evening, about three months before "New Wave", Dimash called and asked if I could write "Ave Maria" for him, explaining it by wanting to sing something like that ... remembering the Italian formula of responsibility, I worked with inspiration until I achieved the desired result ... Taking a few days for the composition to "pour out" in my ears, soul and heart and I sent it to Dimash, who literally within half an hour replied that it was exactly what he wanted to hear.
And of course the reception and the standing ovation that the audience gave Dimash on "New Wave" speak of how lucky it is to do what you love, write for such a singer with a brilliant sense of music, evoke deep emotions in the audience and be desired. .. Well just an essay on "What is happiness?" ... "

This is a magical new classic masterpiece that people are sure to hear in 300 years. Ave Maria (Eng.: Hail Mary) is a prayer and is one of the most commonly said prayers in Christianity. A Muslim and a Jew created a new grandiose Christian masterpiece. It is without words and therefore for all people in this world… so touching.
According to wiki there are 68 Ave Maria settings from 7 eras, now 69. I mean, this song is on the same high level as Schubert's Ave Maria or Vavilovs (Caccini) ... also beyond all spirituality, just wonderful music.

Igor Krutoy (Krutoy means 'Cool', *1954 in Ukraine SSR). He lives and works only in Moscow- Russia always. He is singer, a world- famous composer and music titan in Russia (billionaire). His family is in the US now. Krutoy came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash. The maestro and Dimash have been working together from time to time since 2018. They are friends and have a father-son relationship.
He composed this vocalizes for Dimash's voice... so breathtaking, touching and beautiful.

I would Samaltau from Tokyo Jazz Festival. Mainly for the incredible instrumentation, but also to hear him sing a more reserved Kazakh folk song. Then Be With Me (Music Video is a must!). This is not one of my favorite songs by him, but many people love it. It is a pop song with Michael Jackson inspiration that will show you another side of him. The video is a mini movie where he plays an interesting character. Lots of fun!

Hi Tony. All suggested performances are "musts", but "Know" New Wave 2019 (white suit, no shirt😵💫) from his own YT channel (has subtitles) could be the thing right now. It showcases pretty interesting vocals. When the song is finished, there is a little something that shows Dimash when he steps out of the character of the song. I like the Ascolta la Voce version...it's a vocalise with a touch of scat. Or you could listen to both and compare them. They share a theme though the arrangements are different--Know with words; Ascolta la Voce without.

Fellow Seattleite here, Tony! (At least for the first 2/3 of my life; now re-located to the Olympic Peninsula). So glad to see you responding to my favorite male singer of all time. Please continue. You'll never be disappointed.
As for what's next: How about "Adagio, 2017" (from Chinese reality show, The Singer), "Across Endless Dimensions," "Stranger," "Be With Me," (for something more different than anything else you've seen), "Elim Menin" (for some heavy-duty drum beat Kazakh folk), and "Vocalise" (a mix of Middle East vocal sounds and Ella Fitzgerald skat singing!)
Amongst my favourites are 'Daybreak' performed at Bastau in 2017 and Ikanaide (Japanese version of Autumn Strong which is sung in Chinese). Both performances show so much emotion on top of his virtuosity.
For those songs the stories behind the songs are worth knowing before reacting.
DAYBREAK has a backstory that is necessary to understand the emotion to the performance - start with his performance at I Am Singer - DAYBREAK - a cable car disaster in China in 1999, took the lives of 14 tourists - a young couple were able to lift their 2 1/2 year old son to safety, but plummeted to their deaths - this song is written by Han Hong, as a tribute to the parents for the sacrifice of their life for their son - (written from the child's perspective) -y she also adopted that young boy - it's haunting - Dimash first performed this at I AM SINGER/CHINA - he had lost his voice and had received 5 injections but they weren't helping - he did get through the performance but as soon as he finished, he again lost his voice- he performs this at Bastau, later that year and it's even more powerful ~ enjo

The backstory to this is necessary to understand this haunting piece - the performance from I AM SINGER is just as powerful for different reasons - it tells the backstory and Dimash had lost his voice and had injections to help- after the performance, he again lost his voice

About
He is famous for having an unusually wide vocal range and his ability to sing in more than fifteen languages. Dimash was born Dinmukhammed Kanatuly Kudaibergen in the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan on the 24th of May, 1994.
When he was only five years old, Dimash began taking vocal and piano lessons at the children's section of the Akhmet Zhubanov Music College. He continued his training throughout his school years and eventually attended the music institute of K. Zhubanov University. He graduated in 2014 with a classical music degree centred on vocal ability. He continued his musical education by studying contemporary music Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana.
He successfully received a Master's degree in Composition and was even recommended for the PhD program. Throughout his time at university, Dimash entered four major singing competitions in Kazakhstan. He won the National Zhas Kanat Contest with a perfect score of 180 out of 180, which was unprecedented in the competition's history. In December 2014, he was awarded a laureate of the State Youth Prize Daryn.
He released his first album in China the same year, and it went platinum in thirty-seven seconds!

Dimash wanted a prayer for the world, so he called up Igor Krutoy and this is the magic they made. A Christian hymn, composed by a Jewish man, and sung by a Muslim man. Truly, a prayer for the world “Ave Maria”is a variation adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore only the three opening notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note. At the end, the advanced vocal technique:“Messa De Voce “ (from Italian Bel Canto technique) at the last note sustained 15 seconds on the note C6 . Swell, increase and decrease the volume but don’t change the pitch, it is extremely difficult and only pro vocalists with years of training can do it. Singing on whistle and super head voice with SOFT SOUND IS SO HARD TO DO, harder than loud whistle note!
