I agree with Welty on the CDG Foamposite 1. It's a dope shoe. I'm glad it exists. Outside of that I don't really care about it and I barely want to see it in real life.
But on the other hand, isn’t there some frustration that they start by complaining that the Cool Grey 11 is a straight retro, and they don’t like to put straight retros on the list. And then the next 2 shoes are the 450 and the CDG, and Welty doesn’t like these either! Love Welty - but c’mon man!
The Bodega 990v3’s are my personal sneaker of the year (that I actually could get my hands on). The JFG 990v3’s are the sneaker of the year overall. Just absolute beauties!

The Nike ACG Mountainfly Low not being mentioned once is a crime. Best new ACG model in years. I’ve heard it described as an off road Yeezy 350, and that’s a perfect description. A great low top with Nikes react Vaporfly midsole and a rugged outsole capable of tackling wet urban streets or Rocky Mountain trails

I think the entire whitaker group should be congratulated this year for their executions on each of their releases. I love the fact that I saw actual people get the shoe and not just celebrities. And then actually wearing them was the cheery on top. Not many collaborators can have four releases in a year let alone four great ones that are throughly executed and are beloved by sneaker consumers.

The list was 95% on point. The CDG foams should not even be close on this list, terrible pick, I love foam but that’s a no. the trophy room jordan 1 should not be on the list simply because the release was in top 3 worst of the year, I don’t care how dope the sneaker was, if the consumer doesn’t have a chance it means nothing, might as well have put that sneaker in a auction for a good cause.
The off white dunk lows were important if only for what Nike tried to do with the release and getting them into the hands of us normies. Of course, I can say that as someone who got a pair from exclusive access. So maybe that's not a widespread sentiment. But they at least pretended to try to get around bots and that was nice to see. Then of course I think they're just a good looking shoe that Virgil made some nice tweaks to that makes them feel unique.

The list was 95% on point. The CDG foams should not even be close on this list, terrible pick, I love foam but that’s a no. the trophy room jordan 1 should not be on the list simply because the release was in top 3 worst of the year, I don’t care how dope the sneaker was, if the consumer doesn’t have a chance it means nothing, might as well have put that sneaker in a auction for a good cause.
The off white dunk lows were important if only for what Nike tried to do with the release and getting them into the hands of us normies. Of course, I can say that as someone who got a pair from exclusive access. So maybe that's not a widespread sentiment. But they at least pretended to try to get around bots and that was nice to see. Then of course I think they're just a good looking shoe that Virgil made some nice tweaks to that makes them feel unique.
Most slept on shoe is the fila Oakmont there color ways and material are out of this world for a shoe that’s less than a 100 dollars
