Investigating the continuous problem with my SRS air bag light coming on due to seat movement, found some loose cables and managed to get the light off.
Hi i had a similar issue about 3 years ago and i took it to a dealer and they replaced one of the harness cable and cable is £94 plus labour charge. ❤️❤️🙏🙏🇬🇧
I have the same issue, Vogue SE 2015 had it repaired which was a modification / repair to the loom (not a new loom) twelve months later it’s back !! Did this cure the fault light coming on ?
So far yes the lights hasn’t come on yet!!, I do have 2 air bag extension wires to fit under the seat, (side airbag and seatbelt tensioner) but not got round to fitting them yet as its too cold outside to be working on cars lol
@@RaymiesGarage Thanks for the update, once the weather has warmed up a little I will have a look at this myself see if I can fathom out the cause.. although if its not clearly visible I’ll probably end up cleaning the electrical contacts (battery disconnected) see if that helps.
Land Rovers and several electrical errors can mean it is time for a new battery. Thanks for the video!

I’m currently building up the patience to tackle the exhaust temperature sensor myself Raymond. Looks c u next Tuesday of a job 😂
same, Ive had the sensor here for 3 months still not got the motivation to tackle it yet :)

The cable is around £25 to buy, just need better weather to fit them :)
I only explain I got done from Land Rover dealer they charge about for cable £95 plus labour.
Got the same on my L405, some days it there. Some days it not. Give up on it
Are there seat position sensor potentiometers which, when you move the seat position, get cleaned up and then send better signals to the ECU?
