because their breakcore remix of "a new kind of love" called "a new kind of breakcore love" is only on their channel and another artist's by the name of 'swimswim'. I heavily dislike, you could even say hate, acidgvrl due to them trashing on artists, for example calling other artists, "virgin degen loners", literally in one of their track titles, and also harrassed sewerslvt for awhile. but no longer. I can finally listen to the song without supporting the artist, it was the only good song they "remixed" anyway.
It's not forbidden to remix the same song in the same genre though. Not sure what you meant by '... on the official release and...', it's released as an official remix on Megaphonic Records, which is Imogen's label that also released the original song
