I have the jacket and considering the pants. Had no idea about the hidden pocket behind the back pad, so thanks for that info! The jacket feels like a shirt and it’s become my favorite one to wear.
It would have been helpful to explain tall pant sizing and give some more video on the pant leg length
Let’s design a suit for the hottest weather extremes. Good idea, what color? Let’s make a black version.
Also comes in a grey/olive color. Click the link.
@@markchalloner5883 Yeah, I know. I was just making fun of the black version.
How does this compare to the Klim Marrakesh offerings?
Great video ! How much does he weigh?
Is there any way to get a chest protector to fit or is there one that fits comfortably on the inside? Its the only thing missing on this jacket.
The pocket on the left sleeve is not a "hidden" pocket. That symbol is the Star of Life, the pocket is for your medical information for First Responders
There is an additional pocket underneath that pocket.
That "star" really should be in a bright contrasting color. My gray on gray blends in...not much help for an EMT looking for info.
Did you actually watch the video?
Bought the jacket a few months ago based on several reviews and friends use. Pretty heavy duty, bought one size larger to accommodate layers. Bought the pants a couple days ago. How the hell did they design that rear connector zipper? It locates at a point that is very difficult to reach with both hands AND the zipper half on the the pants is oriented so that it lays downward and has to be bent up (or jacket zip folded) to align...again in a position that is awkward. I am returning the pants and modifying my Mojave pants and Baja jacket to use a shorter, much easier to connect, zipper.
Works fine
@@MrRhandyman30 It turned out that the zippers were mismatched! Pants and jacket were made in different factories and someone didnt get the memo =) Klim stood behind the product. I returned the pants and they put the correct zipper on it, and they gave me a 40% discount code. It then became much easier to join them. Went to the dealer I bought the gear from and every single set of Baja gear had the issue. It's been a great product since.
What size gloves is he wearing?
S4 vs. Marrakesh. Any thoughts?
I have both, but only the Marrakesh jacket (didnt like the pants). 'kesh fit is slimmer, looks more stylish. Lighter than the Baja, breathes really well. Buy a size up if you intend to layer. Abrasion protection is better on the Baja. The 'kesh is more of a day ride jacket for me...long days touring and off-road, prefer Baja.
Pocket no longer hidden, every one knows its there now
😆
The model looks very 😴
