  • We have sold another flock of chickens and are excited for some downtime. We are going to take a quick trip to Tennessee so we are going through and doing some crusting and making sure all the cows are taken care of.

    Start using a wind row machine to get rid of the bad bacteria in the litter.

      We usually windrow our litter. Pretty sure our issues are coming from the hen flocks. The average livability for the entire complex is 84% right now so it’s affecting every farm

    Nothing like seeing that last truck leave 😴 when you clean out make sure to shock your pads and wash as much as you can get clean! Good luck, nothing like bad performance, will make you scratch your head and sleepless nights

    Man the antibiotic free crap is the worst thing ever for the growers. They haven’t told us not to clean out but it sure isn’t mandatory like it used to be.

    • @elovvor1
      @elovvor1 7 месяцев назад +1

      It truly is. The integrators should have done a better job educating the public instead of going completely antibiotic free.

      @@elovvor1 exactly! They catered to 2% of the population and we’re paying for it.

    My grandfather, dad and a couple of uncles always said " you gotta make hay while the sun is shinin", enjoyed it and you get it while you can😉👍🙏

      I cut and bale hay the same day...wrap it....... best hay ever. No storage needed.... quicker grow back in the new crop. Less wheel traffic. 15 years.. never had hay rained on.
