If you're using normal cream, you'll need to use a smaller amount (maybe 3/4 of the amount i specified here) as it's more liquid-y. I've never tried it with regular cream but best of luck!!
For some baking recipes I've reduced the fruit puree down more to reduce the amount of liquid. If you start with a thicker puree, you can probably afford to use a thinner cream.
Yes, I think it is :D as long as it more than 35% fat content. Thickened cream usually has some emulsifiers or thickening agents in it. It's different in Australia and America though!
I usually eat it within a few days, so I'm not too sure how long it stays good...... but maybe no longer than a week, stored in an airtight container in the fridge (that's my guess)
I'm not sure it sounds like it would be delicious though!! let me know if you do. Peaches and raspberries should be interchangeable, maybe try and add more peach but reduce the liquid a bit more beforehand to get rid of extra juice
that would be delicious! but it is thickened cream (in Australia) it usually has a few emulsifiers in it to keep it thick. if you want to use another cream maybe use less to keep the ganache thick.
Hello, xan i use cranberry in same amounts for this ganache?
This is my go to cake filling now
Hi, thank you for this video. How much raspberry puree can I use instead?
Use the same weight as we used for the raspberries. So we used 100g so use 100g of purée :D It will depend on how watery your purée is.
Can we use this in chocolate filling
Can I also make raspberry and strawberry chocolate buttercream frosting... Will that taste good?
Can I replace the thick cream with regular cream (heavy whipping/double cream)? Or can I take 2 tsp of cream and whip it a little until it's thick?

Yummy raspberry ganache 😋💞
can you use raspberry puree instead? xxx
Hi chief , what is thicken cream in America? Is this like plane yogurt?
Heavy whipping cream
This is thick enough for macaron filling? Or will it ruin the shell? Ott looks lovely
I use it as is for macaron fillings! I just make sure it is fully set and cold (it thickens once cooled)
Haha this is why I looked this recipe up as well!
Can we use compound instead?
i'm sure you could i've never done it though
Thank GOD I was suffering for a while looking for something like this for a while.😅
I'm glad you found us! i hope this works well for you!!
Can I strain the raspberries? I really don't like raspberry seeds in anything!
Yes absolutely! You do you :D
Hi, can I fill a donut with this or it would be too sweet or too sour?😊

Hi Elise! May i know if the thickened cream is 2 TBSP or 2 tsp? Thanks in advance!
It is 2 tsp :D
Hello, thank you for the recipe. Is thickened cream the same as heavy whipping cream?
Thank you

@@ElisesEatsChannel alright, thanks!
Can i use a raspberry preserve instead?
I have never tried this but it might be too sweet, but you can give it a go!
thankyou i made this for a bake off at my school
AW yay that's awesome :D
Did u use couverture?
i just used normal cooking chocolate as this one is gluten free. ideally a nice quality white chocolate
Making this raspberry ganache filling for my little Elysse's 5th birthday 🎉
Can I whip this up to thicken and use it to ice a cake? Thanks 😁
i'm not too sure i would probably add more white chocolate to try and thicken it more.
how long does this raspberry ganache stay ??
Between 4-6 days in an airtight container in the fridge (but I've always eaten it before this so not entirely sure hahaha)
How long can this hold in the fridge for?
I usually eat it within a few days, so I'm not too sure how long it stays good...... but maybe no longer than a week, stored in an airtight container in the fridge (that's my guess)
Can I make a peach ganache using a similar method?
I'm not sure it sounds like it would be delicious though!! let me know if you do.
Peaches and raspberries should be interchangeable, maybe try and add more peach but reduce the liquid a bit more beforehand to get rid of extra juice
Will this work for strawberry as well?
it should do i think the raspberry gives a better contrast to the sweetness of the white chocolate
What is thickened cream? Can I use heavy whipping cream which is available in America?
Yes you can use heavy whipping cream, or something with a 36% fat content at least. It should be very thick. Hope this helps :D
J Malonzo I was wondering the same thing!
Can I leave the ganache in the fridge long enough so I can scoop it out to cover in melted chocolate?
Yes you totally can!!
@@ElisesEatsChannel thanks
Looks delicious, can you give UK recipe amounts please. X
Glad you like! I think they are the same as Australia?? Please can you clarify and I will try to help! :D
Sorry, watched this late at night! I see amounts clearly shown on screen now! Not at my best!
Looks like mascarpone cream?
that would be delicious! but it is thickened cream (in Australia) it usually has a few emulsifiers in it to keep it thick. if you want to use another cream maybe use less to keep the ganache thick.
Can you please add to your video the amount of white chocolate, cream and raspberries to make this ganache. Thx
There is text that appears on the screen that says the amounts :D
Can we use pineapple 🍍 instead of raspberry

👏👏👏
She my new bestie 🤠🤠

Looked like baked beans at one stage.
Omg YAS it totally did
@@ElisesEatsChannel Turned out pretty good though, like you, pretty and good.
