Only reason I haven’t bought the anbernic is because imo it’s too thick. Looks like the flip is only a tad thinner, ugh. Really wish they went with s 4” screen, removed the joysticks and made it thinner.
Man, I've been waiting for the Flip for a while. I love the idea of a couple of joysticks that are very out of the way, but there when I occasionally need them, but that looks insanely cheap. Hopefully, Im wrong, and reviews come out positive. But that hinge looks insanely flimsy. Anbernic made a smart choice to emulate the hinge design of the original, but idk what Miyoo is doing here. Had they just done the same, the device would look 10x better (it'd probably be more robust too). In the video when you're moving the display, the hinge looks a bit loose and wobbly. Did it feel like that to you? Or am I tripping? How would you compare the tension between them? And how well does it snap into those positions? Any side to side wiggle on the Miyoo compared to the Anbernic?
They fr confused me. The RG-35XX SP is cheaper, yet I find it to look more like an actual "big licensed" product, not like a cheap emulation device. Yet those sticks look interesting, but I might go with the RG-35XX SP and stick to games that play with D-PAD or play well if you make the D-PAD work like a stick.
It is the same 3.5" screen as 35xxSP. Anbernic SP has black bezel around the screen; that's why it looks larger than Flip. Miyoo Flip's spec is already known.
Heat. Theyre using many 10s of times more power than an OG SP, and that power will produce heat thatll toast your hands and the components without proper cooling
@ I’ll be curious to see real reviews after production units come out. Too soon to rule out for me personally. If Onion OS is supported, I’ll already like this better than any of my anbernic stuff. The Game Switcher is an absolute game changer for me.
I agree. I do like how it's closer to the size of an original SP. It looks like one of those things I can look past once I get my hands on it. (With the exception of the D pad. ) Hopefully Etsy has a better quality custom one I can easily install myself 🤮
Are you hallucinating? The plastic quality on the flip looks way better than the sp(which has seen countless cracked hinges) 😂 it’s okay though, nobody is going to make you buy the obviously higher quality device
This thing took way too long to appear again, I already move out and I really love playing with my rg35xxsp 😂

Important questions: does it heat a lot compared to the sp and it comes with click buttons or membrane ones?

I was hoping the screen was a same size with Abernic.

@@I.M.T.Sthanks a lot dude.
3.5 is the sensible minimum, and everyone has at least one of them already.
the MMFlip isn't out yet right? What is this device in the video?
It does look like a miyoo flip, probably a review unit
Why can't either of Anbernic or Miyoo make their device as thin as the OG SP?

Looks like ima have to buy both

FLIP LOOKS BETTER END OF STORY
looks like a cheap toy
Looks way cheaper than Anbernic
And the Anbernic is cheap looking. I'm dissapointed in the Flip :(
Looks can be deceiving.
I noticed it, too.
