Willow punched tin shade is my favorite 😊 and the Way it looks on the coffee grinder lamp looks amazing 😍
I like every decision you made. The coffee grinder is big enough to carry the willow shade. Your other two I love what you decided on. Wonderful looks on it all! That crow is so much fun! Of course I love a good crow! I have several. I love crows! If you’re anything like me once you start itching to change things it’s gonna happen! It’s who we are Susan! We love to decorate and piddle! My husband calls it playing. And I guess it is. It’s my therapy and my happy place. Just have fun Susan! We all love to watch you play!
I think a taller harp would help raise the lampshade so the upper mechanism/part of the coffee grinder is visible.
I love the tree shade on the coffee grinder. I love the beige fabric shade on the button jar lamp. I'm not sure about the crow shade on the other lamp. I think if it wasn't such a dark black it would be better. I love everything you do.

I like the crow shade because it pulls out the black from your black pan and then the red valentines stuff pops. Good size too.
Hi Susan. You put together three great lamps. I think the proportions of the shades to the the bases are perfect. I especially love the coffee grinder lamp.
The silver shade looks great on the coffee grinder. I absolutely love the black crow shade but I’m undecided if I like it on the brown lamp.
The black one is perfect for where you put it! I think that you can get away with the lampshade with the buttons. Absolutely love the weeping willow lampshade is fine on the coffee grinder. Great finds! I have many of these in my primative style home. What I like is that I can change them for a change. They are called punch tin shades.❤ Today I switched some of my quilts and homespun to make it look more spring like. I’m so done with winter 🥶!!! lol 😂 I do the same thing when I get something new. I really like the lampshade on the coffee grinder. You need a smaller lampshade for the button jar, and the black shade on the shelf with the valentine’s looks Ok.
I love punched tin shades. I have two! I think you should switch out the shades and sit on it a while…the tin looks good against the reddish wood and it also pulls the tin from the tray you have sitting on the opposite side. The shade on the buttons is the perfect size! Oh my the tree shade on the coffee grinder is perfect! Not too big❤

The only shade I didn’t think was right was the one in the button jar. It was too big. Everything else… perfecto !!!! I am forever changing and rearranging so I get how you feel!!! 😊😊😊
I love both tin punched shades and I think that’s the right shade for the coffee grinder lamp. I think you need a smaller shade on the button lamp. I took a class in tin punch in the past and made several items. It was really fun.

I think the first shade is a good size and good color for that lamp and that space; I think the white shade is a tad too big for the jar of buttons; and the willow tree design pierced shade looks wonderful on the coffee grinder....just the right size because the coffee grinder is a heavier base and the shade flairs out. When I had a booth....I would sometimes think hmmm I could use that thing that I have in the booth, so I'll pick it up next trip (I was there twice a week) and I cannot tell you how many times, that thing I wanted to bring home was SOLD.....I use to say "well, maybe if I decide to bring this home, it will sell." LOL.

Susan as soon as you showed the cream lamp shade and the black metal with the red lamp, I was like yes switch them!!! The cream looks so nice with those old buttons, maybe put the lamp on a stack of books to balance the lamp shade size. As far as the large shade for the coffee grinder I would try it where you originally planned to use it in the dining nook, then try it in the living room. good luck! whatever you do will look fantastic!

I like the crow shade on the lamp you tried it on. It brings out the black from the other side.
The cream shade in my opinion is a tad too big for the button jar, but not overwhelming. I would leave the willow tree shade on the coffee grinder and see it in your vignette for a while. I think you will love it!! See ya soon

I like the shade on the coffee grinder. The red lamp looks better with the new shade and it balances the dark baking sheet on the other side! I feel the shade is a little big on the button lamp. I get bored with my house too. I think it's because we stare at it everyday and become numb to it. When I'm gone for a few days and come home it seems refreshed!

Hi Susan, such a fun video. I like the design of the crow shade, I’m not sure about the finish on it though. Maybe you could repaint it in a flat black or maybe try that rust color spray paint.

Love❤ your lampshades I love the crows and also the tree patterns. I myself personally think the shade maybe if you attached a red velvet ribbon going around the cloth shade it would be perfect. To me the color of the buttons with the beige shade it gets lost. Again my opinion.❤ them both overall

I agree with Linda-The shade is perfect, just a little taller harp. The whit shade is a bit large for the button jar. The crow shade isvfun and unnique and a good fit. Youll find a finial for the shade that you love. Im pretty sure you could find anything you put your mind to. The coffee grinder lamp would look great on the ice box. You want to talk mess. My husband and my nephew tore out the carpet and wood flooring in three rooms. The wood was GLUED 4down, and there is dust EVERYWHERE.

On the grinder the harp needs to be taller so you can see the handle on grinder. The black shade on red lamp looks nice. Both The shades are pretty.

I like the creme colored shade on the jar of buttons and I like the black shade on the coffee urn, but the colors seem just a little off on the little red lamp with the black crow shade. It would work, but it just seems a little off to me. I love the rest, and I really like all of the shades! Just my opinion, though. I think the coffee urn is perfect! I know that I will like whatever you decide. ❤

My opinion on the shades is the metal you put on lamp on pie safe is great. I think the shades on the other two pieces are to big. But I love the shades.

I love the punched tin lamp shades however I do not care for them on the button lamp and I agree the cloth shade is not a good fit for the button lamp , I do like the shade on the coffee grinder though ! Love this channel so much

Susan your shade choices are winners. The willow one is gorgeous on the grinder. The lamp shade switch looks great . Playing with the fun stuff is therapeutic but if a big piece of furniture works its left alone . Have a grand time deciding.

The crow shade is perfect, but the coffee grinder needs a taller harp so the handle would show. I wish I could find shades like that. I have been looking for a shade that has an opening for a glass chimney for several years now. Sadly I have to shop online, which limits my shopping.
Your eye is good on the shades. I would go with your first instinct and put the coffee grinder on the ice box. Having a light in that corner will look great. I know exactly what you’re talking about when it comes time to start fresh and rearrange decor. I used to do it often but as I’ve gotten older the old body just slows me down.

I worked in a lamp shop and learned how to fit a shade..I see so many lamps on you tube that are way too small or big….it’s hard finding shades now as so many stores are no longer open…

The great lamp shade dilemma - I always have this problem. The beige shade is a good color for the button lamp, but it’s a “shade” too big. The crow shade is a good color and size for the lamp in your Valentine area, but I think the styles clash. The crow shade needs a more rustic style base such as one made from some architectural salvage like an old wood post/column - in my opinion anyway.

I think the white shade is too big for the button lamp. What about the black shade on the lamp in front of the living room window? The tree shade is fine on the grinder lamp.
