I like Jim cornette but there's a lot of things I don't agree with him on now when he threatened Vince Russo's family say what you want about the man but that's taking it too far when you threaten somebody's family and when Vince Russo filed a restraining order against him everybody was calling him a wuss and a coward since when does protecting your family mean you're a coward? What else was he going to do? he had to do that because he threatened his family and for Jim cornette to do that was very low of him and it shows what kind of a person he is. I do agree he does talk about the same old things over and over he never changes it up
I agree, but that was a good cue for Russo to use his "man card". I think the idea of grown men fighting is COMPLETELY absurd UNLESS it's professional, for self-defense, or in defense of loved ones, i.e. his family. I live in NYC which is the asshole capital of the universe and I'm no stranger to being called every name in the book: That shit doesn't entice me to resort to fisticuffs. HOWEVER, if someone fucks with my family, every ounce of civility will vacate my body and it won't be an issue of the perpetrator finding me, It'll be an issue of me finding them: I will need a lawyer, and he will need a doctor (or worse). Friends encourage me to move out of this rotten apple for that reason as well as others. Like I said, adult men resorting to fist fights over petty issues (which is sadly frequent) is for the intellectually inferior, but Russo should have made it a PRIORITY to confront Cornette in public over this shit. Why, you ask?: 1. See previously stated reason regarding family defense. 2. No matter how impressive Cornette's bark might be, in reality his bite is probably as dangerous as a mosquitos. (No offense Jim, just calling a spade a spade). 3. It would've done PLENTY to redeem his reputation (wait, did he have a good one to begin with?), while simultaneously exposing Cornette's threats as "entertainment". I believe Cornette is indeed a loose cannon who has no business BEING NEAR sharp or blunt objects and firearms, but all jokes aside, the man couldn't whip an egg at this stage in his life. Russo likes to brag about being from NY: He needs to stop it, "bro", because he's giving us a bad name. Real New York men would sooner wear a dress to the mall than file a restraining order against another man... Especially an older man with fucked knees. That restraining order made Russo look like he has peppermints inside of his scrotum instead of balls. Did he not see the confrontation between Cornette & Santino? Mind you, I'm a big fan of Cornette, but in that situation he folded faster than a chair at the end of a cookout: Thank god he was wearing dark pants. Russo's fans would love him even more, and he'd gain an influx of new ones in the process. As a matter of fact, Russo should be given a lifetime ban from being allowed into NY for making us look so devoid of masculinity. I assure you, I am far from being a tough guy in terms of street fights, but if someone tries to rob me of my hard earned belongings or harm a hair on my loved ones head, I'll be facing an indictment for manslaughter or homicide shortly thereafter: Now I know what Archie Bunker said and "girls were girls, and men were men". A restraining order... What is Russo, a woman being stalked by an ex? Ffs....
Hughzey, Russo got a protection order against Jimmy cause he made threats when Russo lived in Indiana 2 or 3 years ago. He specifically told Kenny that he had fans offering to go do something about him so The Bolins told Russo to get the EPO

I'm not sure about Kenny's backstory but I find it comical that Jim hates Trump for being a big racist meanie when Jim was fired for being racist and his whole schtick is personally attacking people

Like I'll fully admit, there was a lot of shit about 90's wrestling that I do not care for, but not only will I admit that there was some amazing shit to come out of the Attitude Era, I'll also gladly admit that it was wildly successful, it's just a "not my cup of tea" deal. Corny though, he falls into that modern social media dweller mindset of "Well it's not what I like, therefore it must be GARBAGE!"
