      How often to fertilize? Mine was growing beautifully and I fertilized it with my other plants and the oxalis just wilted

    Gosh, I have the worst luck with oxalis. I always thought mine died but now I'm thinking they did that dormant period thing and would have come back, so maybe I gave up on them too soon. Thanks for helping us figure this beautiful plant out!

      North filtered light and water once a week. In Colorado you can only have as a house plant. Mine is over 100 years old!! Amazing but true! The rizomes are prolific and you can just put into dirt and plant! Best luck with the green thumb!

    I just moved my oxalis off the balcony and back inside. The Oxalis is not happy. Every day more leaves sag and die. It grew like gangbusters all summer, now leaves start dying daily. It did okay last winter. Am I watering too much? The drainage seems okay, the drainage pan gets full when I water the plant. Its stressing me out. I LOVE this plant. It was amazing for the last two years. Scads of flowers bobbing in the sun every morning. (I kept it in partial sun, nice and shady in the afternoon. I will try your suggestions Liquidamber girl.

      Hi mightymissk! I'm sorry to hear about your Oxalis. Remember that your Oxalis plant can take a little growing break when they shed their leaves and just rebuild some energy in their rootzone. I wish you the very best of luck!

    I bought some from amazon the bulbs and it bloomed after maybe a month and now it’s starting to get leggy and droopy and looks like it’s sunburnt? It’s on a bright area and I’m not sure it it’s too much light? 😭 it’s not even that long since it bloomed. 😩

    I saved 3 dead looking bulb things from the inlaws. Put them on soil and just kind of kept them. Finally put them with this other bulb thing ( i think its a type of orcid) . Now after 10 months theyre growing great . Inlaws threw theres out i think, i have pretty flowers now

      Hi 👋! So great that you kept the bulbs. You’re a smart cookie! 🍪😊

      Repotting may be very helpful to rid yourself of fungus gnats. Make sure to rinse all the soil from the roots and change out all of your soil in the pot. Best of luck with your beautiful plant! And keep me updated on its progress 😊. Mercy, peace and love be multiplied to you.

    My Shamrock has leaves, especially on the bottom of the plant, that are yellow/brown around edges. So is the result of too much or too little watering?

    • @LiquidambarGirlGardening
      @LiquidambarGirlGardening  6 лет назад +2

      Hi Rebecca! It's difficult to guess with seeing the plant...over and underwatering can both look similar. Maybe if you check the soil with your finger? Then you could see if the plant is drying out too much in between waterings or if it may be staying too moist. If you would like to head over to my FB page, you could share some pictures and I may be able to be more helpful. Best of luck to you! Mercy, peace and love be multiplied to you.

      Hi Francisca! I actually don’t have any of these for sale and I haven’t seen any for sale on the other online stores. But if you have a nursery near to you they will likely have some in the early Spring. Which is just around the corner 😉. Best of luck!

    My oxalis has little holes and some of its leaves are a little curled. Any idea why this is? Thanks for the video!

    • @LiquidambarGirlGardening
      @LiquidambarGirlGardening  6 лет назад

      Jackie Lee hi 👋. Holes in leaves sounds like insects to me. Have you looked closely at your plant? Like really up close and personal. Under the leaves and down in the soil. Even if you can’t find any you might consider using an insecticidal soap and see if it helps. Best of luck to you😊. Mercy, peace and love be multiplied to you.

      I have one that used to be huge for many years. It actually seemed to die last year and then new growth popped up! Its still very sad looking and hasn't bloomed in a long time. I miss my plant , advice? Thank you!!
