I really felt like that after everything Nathan has been through these last few years that Elizabeth had some explaining to do. And, while I think they have plenty to discuss and clear up, like the jail scene, it is absolutely clear that Nathan's unconditional love for her will win out very quickly over any hurt he may still be dealing with. I don't believe it will take much nudging at all for him to start fighting for them again.
It's what he knows to do and it's what he WANTS to do. You do crazy, illogical things when you love like he loves her.
He has been listening to her from the beginning. He's sacrificed, he's stepped up, and he's stepped back when he had to. He's encouraged her, fought for her, protected her, and always been honest with her. She has wanted him involved in the decisions in her life that matter most, like with Little Jack, and he has never shied away in the tough conversations.
This isn't a second-rate love story. Nothing about Nathan and Elizabeth is "next to best." It is great! The kind of great she is looking for and feels she deserves. And we feel that he deserves, too.

You sound like me a little. I always wanted Elizabeth to date both men. (Though I flipped out when E&L got engaged) So, I wanted E to date L and then break up with him. So, I wasn't upset when Elizabeth broke her engagement to Lucas. I knew it meant Elizabeth would get with Nathan romantically! I always wanted Elizabeth with Nathan in the end! 😂 So, Hallmark did what I wanted though S8 & S9 were hard to watch because they could have been written better JT wasn't a very good showrunner, in my opinion. But I love showrunner LS and consultant AM in S10 & S11. I was happy to see Elizabeth break up with Lucas in S10. Then Elizabeth get with Nathan in S11. ❤
To everyone who got so upset you need to be reminded this was a typical Hallmark story. The 1st man a woman is with turns out not to be her true love (even if they had been engaged) They break up. He was a safe relationship maybe a safe love. The 2nd man is her true love. Hallmark does this all the time in their 2 hour Hallmark movies they just had their writers for WCTH do it in their TV show. 😂 Remember everyone the men are fine, they are just actors. Lucas isn't real. But it's sad he got hurt. 😥 The characters Lucas and Nathan are fictional TV characters. 😂 So, I'm enjoying Kevin and Erin as Nathan and Elizabeth in a romantic relationship! ❤ The only difference from WCTH & a typical Hallmark movie with two suitors is they used Elizabeth's trauma of losing Jack & being retraumatized by the idea of losing Nathan like that, but Elizabeth was in love with Nathan. ❤ 😊

Por ser assim na nossa vida real , a série não precisa ser igual . Vocês muda os episódios todo tempo , já está ficando sem graça está muito bagunçado , não só porque é uma História precisa de ser bagunçado deste jeito .
