Myles Garrett played at my HS and was a beast. He’s the reason my high school was rly put on the map for recruits and others. He didn’t come from one of those stacked high schools, he was the team.
The only negative about Myles Garrett is that he couldn't get over the hump of carrying his team vs a DFW giant (DeSoto) Only JSN singlehandedly carried Rockwall Heath to beat #1 Allen in the playoffs.
Maybe the thing i appreciate the most of you is that you speaking about staying in the NFL as a good thing. So many internet voices talk about backups or people that arent instant pro bowlers as “scrubs” or trash and its so annoying. Thank you.
Fr. Dashawn Hand was a dawg when he saw the field in Detroit. I’ll never forget the best game he had in his rookie season. We sucked ass all year long, but Dashawn Hand had 2 strip sacks on Rodgers and Crosby missed like 4 field goals and an extra point and we beat the packers in ford field
There was a 3 star QB in that class also, can't remember his name. Mahouse or something. I think he's been pretty successful, but maybe he should have stuck to baseball.
He did not mention Mahomes, Josh Allen, Deshaun Watson, Dalvin Cook, Lattimore, Fred Warner, Quincy Williams, or Budda Baker not making the top 10 at the beginning.
Garretts one of those guys you don't build to beat. You build to limit his impact. He's a fantastic player. He absolutely has lived up to the hype. Not gonna lie I think he would've fit well in the black and blue era of the AFC North.
Being from Louisiana I remember all the noise Leonard was making, it was crazy, they really thought he was the next great running back and in all fairness in highschool he absolutely was.
"After committing to Texas A&M, there was a good shot that Kyle Allen was going to be the heir to Johnny Manziel, which was a tall order to live up to." Undrafted, but 7-12 in his starts to Mr. Football's 2-6. Love that for him.
Made me so upset that Gregg Williams made him an angel safety playing like 20 yards back most snaps when he was a rookie. Got me and my dad heated that year
Good stuff as always KTO. My Alma Mater played LSU Fournette his last year. My son and I drove from Central Alabama to Baton Rouge to pull for Jacksonville State, and to see Fournette…and they rested him. He was dressed, and he looked bigger than ever one else on the field.
I remember watching that Leonard Fournette play against Auburn at the end of the video. That’s what officially put him on my map, I had recently become a fan of football at that point. I called him the Flyswatter from that point forward. Looking back on it the Auburn db kinda just slid off him and he maintained his balance, but in my minds eye he threw that guy straight off of him. Good memories
Discovered your channel with the Leonard Fournette video. It got me so hyped about him that I wanted my Panthers to draft him. Can say we got the better back with McCaffrey.
I agree with Bob Quinn's ideology; the easiest way to miss out on a game-changing player is to overvalue their combine performance. Shame Tabor didn't work out very well but hopefully has a good time in the UFL. I'm noticing a pattern with these recruit videos too: the top QB prospect rarely pans out. Just shows how much development is needed for the most important position. It's not how you start, it's how you learn.
I remember being happy to finally play a game in high school as a receiver. Then after leaving the huddle to get in position to run a jet sweep, I saw that my route will lead to this behemoth of a man (myles garrett). I felt genuine fear praying that i wont get hit by him lmao. He is a lot bigger in person💀
Happy to see Peppers develop into such a great player. As a long time Michigan fan I'd love to see him on the Lions, but he's been great on that Pats D. Should've showed his pass breakup at the end of the Wisconsin/Michigan game drom back then. Was amazing.
@Renegade-kf8fp I played for 2 years and had a seizure at a practice so had to quit, probably the most interesting story I got lol. Had tons of concussions from skiing/Boxing/a car accident/football so probably good thing I called it quits before trying to make The League or something.

Its amazing with the devaluing of rushing game/RB contracts, just how long many of them from 2017 class have lasted in the NFL. A bunch of them are all purpose RBs, but I was also surprised that Mixon has the most rushing yards out of the group. Great vid! 👍
I happened to be in New Orleans for a Saints game during Fournette's sophmore season and he really was a sensation. one of the craziest players to watch in college. I think he really would have benefitted from the NIL if it had been around
Wow ... I did not realize the 2014 recruiting class had this much talent, and I am definitely grateful my Ravens took Marlon Humphrey, who was part of that top 10. If you have to ask me who is the most impactful, I'd pick Myles Garrett. Sure, Fournette may have won the Super Bowl, but Garrett is the clear face of the Browns franchise since he got drafted. Garrett is the anchor of a potent front 7, in a division that plays against Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson. Plus, it's no coincidence that the Browns have gotten better since he arrived, albeit in spite of the Browns front office shooting themselves in the foot over and over again. Garrett is the definition of a game changer, and the Browns are fortunate to have him.
I feel like Taper could've played WR in the slot with hands like that and his skills. Dude basically ran routes but I remember that combine and it was wild how slow his speed was there. It was basically my time in 9th grade only slightly faster like damn it sucked he didn't become huge in the NFL.
