my god, i get so much emotions hearing this song it aint normal. The pan Flute that makes you calm, the rytm that makes you pumped up, and those build ups, those are wicked. Combined with the awesome ff7 story, i can feel my heart beat go on like crazy.
I can see a group of adventurers hiking the dry mountains looking for a temple with an artifact or something and after the conversation between them goes quiet, the camera zooms out to show the complex mountains and this song starts playing...

Not bad. Others who make "remasters" might want to take some notes. Too many of them take a downloaded midi file, reassign some unimpressive sounding synths or worse, and bounce to MP3 without any attempt to do any mixing...and call it a remaster. -- This sounds like it was made by someone with the right idea, the correct instruments and some mixing experience. Could use a few more tweaks but very well done 9/10
Matt Canon I don't know... It's epic, but... This still look too much like the original... Especially beacause, as with all versions I've ever found, it keeps the flute as main instrument...
+Matt Canon I totally agree! I've heard many versions, but this is the only one I've added to a playlist ^_^ It keeps the vibe of Cosmo Canyon, the mysteriousness, the spirituality. The FEELS.
Nobou himself would no doubt approve of this. You REALLY captured the spirit of the song, something that seems to be hard to do since i've NEVER seen a remix/remaster that comes anywhere near close to this.
This is a wonderful rethink! Glad your still making these, they come as close to the classic original themes as it gets, and without spoiling with interesting changes :)
absolutely awesome. I like how the acoustics are tuned down a little bit to give it more of a tribal feel. Very good interpretation. Also that drum sounds amazing on these def tech 8060s.
+Madness nah they probably would like to get the fans involved, i even heard the black mages rock band might make a track for the ff7 remake,if this happens ill die a happy man loooool
@@merki101 As much as I like the black mages, I really don't think they're a good fit for this. Most of their music is very rock-heavy which isn't bad but just wouldn't fit for this song.
Im necroposting as hell but this is the best cover of this song still to this date, better than Rebirth's, which is good, but too different a vibe. You perfectly captured it. What is this flute?? how does it bend so much? I need to know!
If nobou had issues with revisiting his old works(they got him back in the end i think ), squre totally should have gotten you. You actually capture the spirit of the song imo.
Woah!- Tifa Omagawd!- Red XIII This scenery - Barret ???? Yuffie never had her for here?!? ---------------------Spoilers --------------- I sense Sephiroth, he's close.- Cloud (wonder why)
My brother said that he was never all that useful so he never used him. I mean he's a FF7 vet but that's no reason to shit on my boy Nanaki. His story is so sad.
Nice! I just like in the original, the notes are short and sweet. Not long and drawn out. This makes it sound more lyrical. I like when the beat drives it.

This is the closest version to the original. Love the pan flute in this. It all sounds crisp and you can make out every instrument. Fantastic work!
9.5/10 a little too much vibrato in the flute for my taste but I'm getting nit-picky. Best remake I've ever heard. Great job.

Nobuo Uematsu would be proud himself of this!
While listening to this song, I cried like a baby. One of the happiest moments of my childhood in 3:36. You made my day.
Damn I'm impressed as a native man this is good . Much props to the japanese men and women who did this thank you. We love your culture as well.
gyeahhhh this one

You kept the Native American sound to the place, I *LOVE* it, perfect stuff!
soon..yesssssss

Lonel650 It's supposed to be like the original, hence "remaster", haha :)
Matt Canon This music and the red 13´s history are so beautiful and I love the both!

I don't know how you're not explosively-popular. These are amazing tracks.

finally, someone who remixed this track right. =w=
I love the way you re-made it, can't stop listening to it. You're really talented!
Fantastic work on this remaster!
This is so amazing that I'm getting chills. It fits perfectly the tribal feel of Cosmo Canyon and Nanaki (Red XIII)'s heritage.
This is how you make Cosmo Canyon feel like Cosmo Canyon
Really, kudos! Best VGM Remixes/Remasters I've found on the whole internet. Chapeau!
Thanks so much! :)
[Highly-compressed howl]
Its So Epic and Beautiful
Amazing! Definitely hit the right mood and feel for the song! Best remastered out there! Cheers!

Amazing sound, I love this song. Best track in the game, besides final judgment. Great authentic sound, pure and crisp sound, beautifully done.
At first, I will admit, I thought this was going to suck, but I doff my hat to you. This was truly amazing, and I would love an mp3 version of this.
absolutely awesome. I like how the acoustics are tuned down a little bit to give it more of a tribal feel. Very good interpretation. Also that drum sounds amazing on these def tech 8060s.
Mother of gods, this is absolutely awesome. It deserves to be on the remake. Good work mate.
Someone contact Square we need this in the remake.
I doubt the actual tracks will be as good as this. Also really good job.
+Madness nah they probably would like to get the fans involved, i even heard the black mages rock band might make a track for the ff7 remake,if this happens ill die a happy man loooool
***** no its because nobuo is not involved in this remake, and thats confirmed
"WAS" in the black mages

Sorry, everything after 3:37 is total crap.
Yeah, he should have let it loop like 4 or 6 times instead of 2.
well then i guess everything i do after watching this video is total crap ok i see how it is T_T xD
Favourite tune of FF7, top job, very fitting. The volume levels and production are very good.
I fall asleep to this theme. All covers are awesome. I like this one
Thanks for listening! :)
Brought tears to my eyes!

Wow, I really need to learn the pan flute. I think this might be my favorite instrument. It's innocent and yet so passionate.
Nice remastered version, I feel some South American Andean vibes.
This is beautiful...
nice arragement , i love it, it feel like my ear is following this calm music 😁
woah dude, I just love how you left the electric guitar out, it would've ruined the atmosphere. Totally going to buy this if a chance to!
Just picked up both remaster albums on Loudr, this is some fantastic work! I was considering buying already but this track sealed the deal for me.
Thanks so much, man! I really appreciate it! :D
The best soundtrack my friend thank you it s the track
it's so beautiful.... (tears...)
Kinda makes you fall in love with Nanaki and his people
i love the drums in this
Meet me by the bonfire?

Holy fuck dude. You took my favorite song and made it hella good. Thanks man
This remastered version is beautiful, I love this theme =3
BEST REMIX. EVER! Great job!

Wonderful! Thank you for doing this.
All of the goosebumps.
This was an inspiration for the cover I've made, thank you for this.
very beautiful omg
Yeah, really great work! I just reeeally have a problem with how the panflute glides around at the end of most phrases, but otherwise, great!
This is beautiful ♡ it's much better than the original I think.
Absolutly perfect.
Muh boi this is beautiful
If nobou had issues with revisiting his old works(they got him back in the end i think ), squre totally should have gotten you. You actually capture the spirit of the song imo.
beautiful
Very nice.
Beautifully done.
A bit sketchy on the ocarina at the end of the notes, sort that and this could easily be the song for the remake
Amazing i hope this is in the remake
¡Holy shit!
¡This is beatiful!

You did a very good job! You make this look easy to do (but I know it's not).

Nice! I just like in the original, the notes are short and sweet. Not long and drawn out. This makes it sound more lyrical. I like when the beat drives it.
Amazing!

Prefer the original tbh, but if I hadn't heard it, I'd be all over this. Good job 👍
with a little upgrade here and there this shit would be perfect for the remake, for real, congratulations
Ding! You just earned a subscriber :) nice job!
Finally a nice remake (in my opinion) of that great song. I like it more than the Distant Worlds version
