Lab practicum is a beautiful score, this here is an sfx, the score on hla is superb btw, although Kelly Baileys existencial sounds from portal and hl2 are unbeatable
@jou taama Most of the sounds from HL2 are from a stock audio library anyway. In Alyx most of them are completely original because they have a much bigger budget. I honestly hate people who will disregard anything other than the original game for the sake of blind nostalgia.

They went quite musical with the combine noises in this game, specially the vault
Mike Morasky went into a lot of detail about his sound design for combine stuff in the developer commentary, so it was very intentional
