Elections will be conducted once the all state organs and institutions are subsequently reformed. Once a constitution that decentralizes power, prevents capture of state by politicians, sets up truly free and fair election commission, ensures justice for all murders and crimes, ensures all the fundamental rights of every citizen and stops corruption on such a brazen and widespread scale is adopted. Only then can elections be called. Otherwise other parties will inevitably try to replicate this fascist government's model.
For that to happen the constitution must be fixed so that dictator like Hasina shall never take place.... Anyhow... the Interim govt has the 'govt' status which means it has all sorts of legislative and diplomatic power just like any govt, the difference being, they will commence electoral activity which the regular elected govt cant
