If she had been Cersei, she would have made sure he died in the battle for Kings landing. Her love and trust for Jon, was her undoing. This is the part of the story I find out of kilter. If she had killed Jon, then perhaps we could have had a final showdown between the unsullied and the Northern armies. And as Drogon begins to swoop down onto Sansa army, Bran wargs into him and forces him to turn against Danny, as he lays waste to her armies instead. That to me, would have made more sense.

you notice this was jon/aegon tell dany about himself. she then turn this into all about her. this was about him not her.
Disagree. This was about them! It was about their family. Her brother and his father and what war has done to them all. The Targaryens. She has to flee being a little girl and he was raised as a bastard without knowing who he really was.
This scene was about the downfall of their relationship. Not just "him". Everything Daenerys has sacrificed, bleed for, lost was for the throne. In just this one moment she thinks of how he has the better claim than her. The people will choose him over her. Her child died for nothing. The reason she is here is for nothing. All it took was for Jon to say his real name and everything fell down on Daenerys and their relationship. Also the reason that she is more worried about his claim is because it's natural for Targaryens to incest, their family members and ancestors has done it before them.
Such great acting in the whole series the whole cast were awesome

Danny still has a better claim. Rheagar never was king. Battle of the Trident happened before the Sack of Kings Landing. The Throne pasted to that piece of crap Viserys and to Dany after she had him killed. Jon was the son of a Prince not a King
That's not how it works. Jon is the male heir, so he has the better claim
That doesnt matter, hes the oldest living son of the oldest son. The throne passes downwards based on whos the first born of the first born it doesnt pass sideways, unless all first borns (jon in this case) die or dont wun it
@@m_zero3009 The great counsel from 101AC decided that a first born son of the first born son will be first in line over the King's first born child. Rheanys was the oldest of the King's children but is a woman. Visersy was the King's first born grandson from his first born son. Obviously in Westeros woman have a nearly impossible chance to rule except for extreme circumstances. Maybe I have too much of the Dornish spirt in me but Dany being the eldest surviving daughter of the last King, having a powerful army and dragons make her claim better. Jon should have just been her King consort. Instead he tried to deny the challenge to the Throne as Prince Aegon II suggested to Queen Alicent Hightower. Jon belonged at the Wall -Catyln Tully approved
@@knightsfb32 she still doesnt have the better claim, look at the current english monarchy. For arguments sake, assume only those in line to throne were Princess Anne and Prince William, taking everyone else out of the question including Charles. Obvs William would be favoured in this case, being the eldest surviving daughter of Queen Elizabeth doesnt matter. If anything Daenerys should be the Queen consort, or they could rule as co monarchs like William and Mary did but the latter is more likely cos Jon is a simp

Not all of Westeros would agree with you on your opinion, although majority of the Wester-lands, Reach, Stormlands and Riverlands would agree that the heir HAS to be a male. In Dorne its the eldest child regardless of sex, Im not sure if you have been following any of the Arianne chapters. She is the rightful heir even the common folk believe her the rightful heir. This is part of the problem for the Iron Throne. Regardless of which person is ruling, they will not have the entire relm united UNLESS there is only 1 option. Which is why Dany has to die. Regardless that she is the rightful Queen or not
