On my recent video at 13:10 I showed my Frankincense tree. I repotted a week ago and all its leaves turned brown and are dropping off like parachutetors. I am keeping my fingers crossed for new leaves. There are signs of green on the very top, so I won't give up on it.
It depends on the species really, some it will encourage and other it just throws out a new shoot and grows tall again. Maybe age has something to do with it.
Thank you for answering my request! I now have a bunch of cuttings repotted! You rock!
Anytime, good luck with your cuttings!
You are a great source of Frankincense culture. I am not cultivating them but still I love to watch how you grow and propagate them. Thank you Todd.
Thank you for watching, I've really immersed myself the past six years in their cultivation.
Watching your videos makes me want to grow as many types of plants as possible 😂 thank you for the info!
Well it's a sure way to make yourself insane... Good luck😉👍
*Thanks for sharing, very useful video. I never knew these until now*
Thank you, it's used as both medicine and incense, I guess in Vietnamese incense is hương I think?
Excellent video thanks for the great info ! I hope to start some Sacara cuttings some day.
Great, I'm sure you will. What's cool is about 3-5 year they don't look like they were even cuttings.

It's just in shock, it's best to Repot them when they're dormant.
does pinching the meristem (as opposed to top cutting) not encourage back budding?
