SH Figuarts Dragon Ball GT Super Saiyan 4 Goku was released in Japan on the 23rd of November, with an intended original release date a month earlier on the 30th October. Super Saiyan 4 Goku is a general over the counter release and retails for 6000 yen or roughly 55 USD.

Hoping this leads to vegeta ss4, gogeta ss4 and super baby 2. I like the fact they are doing Gero and imperfect cell but I’d LOVE for them to make a 2.0 Android 16
They’ll definitely do a SS4 Vegeta & Gogeta for the set. & I’d love a Super Baby 2 but I could also see them doing an Omega Shenron

Never been so early to a review until now
Just received mine and man is he awesome! The hip joints were a little loose but I popped them off and it seems that the factory used a little too much oil on the ball joints. I cleaned them off and everything is tighter. My favourite Goku figure yet!!
Cannot wait to get mine!!! Please tamashii make ss4 vegeta or baby next we definitely need more GT!!!

SS4 Goku will always be the epitome of super Saiyan for me. I used to dream about having figures like these as a kid. Better late than never I guess 🤷♂️
I think he has earned a top 3 spot for 2021... but I am still torn on who takes that top spot. Too many great releases this year.
My top 3 of this year are Mafex Gambit, Mafex Ben Reilly Spider-Man & the 3rd is a toss up between SHF Cooler & this guy
The hair on the shoulders being articulated is CRAZY. I'm so happy after how long we waited this figured turned out so good.

Very nice and detailed review about this releash! Another great attention to details is where Goku's tail comes out. Bandai made the sculpt look like the tail bursted out of his pants rather than just put the tail into it.

Amazing review as always!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I love your dramatic intro cause that was definitely necessary and honestly because of it mad me more hype to get him. I just got him yesterday, I ordered it from Lunar Park and in my opinion he’s definitely the best SHF Goku ever made. His articulation is amazing and detailing is perfect my QC is great but his head is a bit loose but other than that it’s perfect. He’s definitely worth the wait.
Dam my figure has some loosy goosy legs too. Ugh….. but I can’t lie, its a figure ive been wanting for years and I’m very happy with it
I'm not a huge GT fan as well but I gotta say that this figure looks absolutely stunning! Mines almost here. I barely got one. They need to make more so everyone can get one. I'm tired of these premiums and low quantity. Pre orders are meant to tell a company how much to make. When they produce low quantity and call it a pre order is dumb. That's called limited edition

It truly is an amazing figure, the sculpt has that roger rabbit effect as if he is the character brought into our world, mine suffers qc with a loose ankle joint, but that aside it has nailed the ssj4 look perfectly in any pose, also he seems a bit heavier than other goku figuarts
Was never really a ssj 4 fan when I was a kid, the form only grew on me when I watched super dragon ball heroes now I quite like it hope they make a limit breaker Version of this like in heroes and seeing this makes me excited for the third party ssj4 vegito that's coming out, now time relisten to Dan dan kokoro hikareteku.
Only gripe with this guy is the no shading on the fur, think he wouldve been amazing with some darker colours on it. Overall love the figure though and am overjoyed I got him for under retail 😁

Oh man space is limited so I only have room for one Goku figure on my dragonball shelf, I have super saiyan 3 already and have this version pre ordered…though given the reviews I may find a separate space for him lol here’s hoping they make at least ss4 Vegeta!

With this release it’s a no brainer that S4 Vegeta is right around the corner. I think because they’re pumping out a good amount of figures they’re forgoing the shading to give us more characters not to mention increasing they’re profit margin lol. Just preordered from Gamestop here in Canada, man seeing the shipment delays sucks though. Know a few others who ordered wayyy earlier and they've been waiting so long. Im happy that I at least got the preorder though, missed it before
Did you get yours yet? if you did I was wondering if you help me with some information. Did you have any issues with yours because I’m on the fence of getting him but scared of getting one made from Vietnam because apparently a lot of people are having quality control issues with Vietnamese version and wanted to see if as of recently they have improved or still the same issues happening?
Man the sculpt is so good but I just wish he was taller and slightly bulkier tbh. I was hoping he would tower over ssb goku.
Oh man, I only have gen 1 SSJ Goku and Legendary SSJ Broly but this would be a dream figure to own. Almost impossible to find him around where I live at retail.

I am VERY lucky in that my SS4 Goku has ZERO QC issues. He’s absolutely perfect. I didn’t think I was going to love this figure as much as I do. It’s become my absolute favorite Goku I’ve got.
I will say, I noticed that my figures that on the box say “made in China” have more shading while the “made in Vietnam (which SS4 Goku seems to be exclusively made) lack a lot of shading and lack matte finishes present on the “skin” of figures that are from China. One quick way that I can immediately tell a “China” figure is looking at the ears. The Chinese ones have shading inside the ears that get the lines to show up. So far, Vietnam figures don’t have shading at all in the ears. My first figure I noticed that came from Vietnam instead of China was my Full Power SS Goku. No idea if Tamashi has completely shifted all production or if it’s just been split. I’d be curious to find out if anyone has a OFFICIAL LINK ss4 Goku that originates from China..

Vegeta is my favorite character but I've always loved the SS4 design so I'm hoping SS4 Vegeta is next in the pipeline. I unfortunately missed the Preorder so I'm hoping Amazon Japan gets more of these up. Probably my most anticipated figure of the year and I HOPE this form somehow becomes cannon again.

Mine didn't have a loose leg, but the ball peg in his neck is super loose to the point that his head flops around unless the two back hair pieces are pressed down into his back, holding the head in place.
Any tips on tightening it? I've heard that nail polish can damage the plastic. I was thinking of using floor polish instead?
I have the same issue with mine but yeah Pledge floor care is the best thing to use to tighten it up. There’s a specific one though, you have to get the one that has blue boots on the front cover and the Pledge liquid must be clear if you search it here on RUclips you’ll see what I’m talking about and each person who used it said it was the best one. I believe it should be at Walmart but in case it’s not there it’s best to buy it online. That will solve our issue.
No. It's simple, nail polish just a thin drop or layer barely any enuff to get some in area, once dried turns to a hard plastic substance

Pledge floor polish is something that a lot of people use to tighten joints. You don’t need much, just dab a little on the area.
