I'm so sorry for your loss. I have just seen this lady for the first time, and she has many tips that I can work with, I'll be happy to see more of this lady with her videos as she is very talented and she is wonderful to watch. She can help me with alot of ideas as I am quite artistic myself. I wish she was still here as I have many questions to ask but I am sure I will keep on watching her videos so I can take up her tips and anything else she has to offer for me. ❤ rest in peace my lovely.
Love the racks you have your paints. I’m just staring because a friend of mine said it’s good for people that suffer from anxiety like me. Thank you for taking the time to post and share your knowledge with everyone.
Welcome to my channel Magali. This art form is very good for stress it’s why I started painting as well. Through the years I’ve heard from many who have had similar experiences. Just try not to pressure yourself with perfection. Enjoy the process and relax while painting. Your dots will improve with practice, We are our own worst critics. I hope you find it as relaxing as I do 🥰
I'm thank you for sharing your experience and tips and tricks with us! I love to read through the comments and give them thumbs up as you talk about your intro! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into your giving us this free gift!
Hello Sue, I am interested in Mandala painting and this was an "Excellent " video for me. I can watch your video's for hours. Thank you so much for all this information. I look forward to part 2 of this kind of video. I hope you have a great day!!
Thank you so much for sharing your information and knowledge with us. I have learned so much from you. You are a wealth of knowledge. You are such a great teacher. Your artwork is amazing.
I was just about to start a project on wood and I'm SO glad I got a notification for this video!! Thank you so so much!! Great information! I love all of your videos, thank you for sharing with us!
Hi Ms. Sue! I haven’t forgotten you! I have a job now. 10 hours a day at least. So, I don’t craft, dot or diamond art hardly at all now. But I hope to start dotting again in time. I miss miss you so and truly hope you are doing well. I don’t get on Facebook either. Just wishing you the best and didn’t stop praying for you and hubby! 🌹❤️🙏🏻
Your so sweet! I was wondering what happened to you! I hope things are going well for you and you can get some dotting time in soon. We are doing ok over here thanks so much for the well wishes 🥰.
I leave a half toothpick in the leftover paint in the palette. Once it dries, you can peel it out very easily by pulling on the toothpick! Thank you for sharing all these very helpful tips. Love how you call it the "dollar bill store"
This was excellent. Although I've painted on/off for three years, you offered some very helpful tips. I'll be sure to check for additional videos. Thank you!
Awesome video... those are things I’ve learned along the way with Trial and Error, I would have loved to have seen this video at the beginning of my journey.👍
I really like the tutorial. I did learn a lot. I never thought to shake up the paint but I do stir it after I put it in the pallet. I am also wasting paint so I like the idea of using the cap or the wet pallet. Good stuff! Post more!
At 13 minutes I really liked how you showed us how to drag the dots. And while I was looking at it I noticed that your paper towel has a wonderful dot Design!
Athabaskan a heap for all the info given so freely and extensively.ive only done 1 mini piece n it was a disaster, but now I know a bit about what I should be doing!youre a champion!!
Thank you for the time and knowledge you give us! I am not a person who envies or covets what other people have, but I really do envy and covet your paint racks! I am a decorative tole painter from way back when, and have amassed many many MANY paints. May I ask where you got your racks? Everything looks so neat and tidy, and I could certainly use the bookshelf that currently houses my paints for other things...canvases, record albums, wood pieces, patterns, and so on!
Maurina they are actually Nail Polish racks. I just got them from Ebay. Have to make sure you get the FIVE tier though. They do make 6 but there is not enough distance between them for the bottles has to the 5. Also if your buying on Ebay like I did be very careful to read the descriptions. I had to send a few back as they showed the large rack with the smaller ones on the side but were only selling the center until. They were 25 for the 3 racks when I got them. But I've had them a while now. The center rack will hold 90 bottles, and each of the side racks 40.
Thank you. I just tried my 1st mandala on paper. Made my tools with some craft dowels I had around ,just playing around. Tried to do the swoops and wondered what I did wrong".I wasn't expecting perfect by no means but.... this 1st video I've seen that talked of how a rounded tool was better for swirls and showed diff rounded and flat. So got new thoughts
Thanks so much for saying that. I'm hardly an expert I just like to share what I've learned so that folks can have fun with the hobby sooner and learn from my mistakes. :)
Glad you found the video useful, welcome to my channel. 😀. I do have a beginners playlist made that you may find useful. Take care and happy dotting! Sue.
Hi Sue. This video is just a perfect start. I certainly picked up some tips. I am starting this as I have just reached my age of maturity ( I my 60’s 🤣🤣🤣) during a pandemic. I want something to do during the winter as there will not be anymore outside visits - too cold in Canada. I felt so comfortable that when you said bye I did too lol. I look forward to seeing your other videos. Stay safe. xo from Canada.
I really enjoy watching you create. I just made my first stones using the happy dotting company molds and watched this video while doing so. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
So happy I found your channel. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and taking the time to make the videos. Hope you are doing ok. Thinking of you often Take care
I was very interested in your happy dot molds and wondered how to make them a little bit more rock like. I’ve tried Plaster of Paris but they are a little bit soft
The ultra cal 30 works great. It’s a mix of plaster of Paris and cement. Others have used cement before or quik creat however you spell it you can get right at Home Depot or a hardware store.
This was really helpful! Can you show us how you MAKE rocks? I had never heard of doing that, but those molds look very interesting to me. Your videos are great- I just found you and subscribed and I'm working my way through them. Thanks for sharing!

Where did you get those shelf on the wall with the paints on them? They are lovely. Also can I have all your paints?? 😂
I bought them on Amazon they are five tier nail polish racks. Lol I know I have to many paints. Sad part is your not even seeing my tube paints lol
I love your video and I also like your paint racks on the back wall where did you get them?
Ordered them on Amazon they are nail polish racks. Make sure you only get the five tier or they will be to short for your bottles.
