I am so glad you made that video. Even though you think you know what your doing, it is such a confidence builder to watch someone with experience. I always learn something from you. Thanks

That was well worth waiting for Keith. Your detailed explanations go way beyond what other folks say. Thanks for sharing it.

I don't usually comment on videos, but I just wanted to say thanks for all your videos. Following your advice and examples I have just finished restoring my first plane. It came out looking better than I could ever have hoped for. Keep up the great work!

Hey Keith - nice video! Some good tips in there. Especially having the right size screwdrivers for each job. People have forgotten how that works with slotted screws - it's really critical.
    Thanks for sharing this.

Thanks. I've always wanted to see you do this. I have had a plane waiting for some TLC and this helps a lot.

Very good tips Keith. You could also use penetrating oil for the hard to reach bolts. I use it all the time so I don't break any parts (Stanley screw thread are oddball from today standard). I don't have as many spare parts as you do :) . Thanks for sharing.

I have a Bailey No 6 which I believe to be a Type 5. It broke down easily except for the knob and tote, which I can't get off. My screwdriver fits perfectly, stands by itself just like yours, but I cannot turn the nut on the knob or tote. I'm woried about buggering up the nuts, but can't get them to move. Plane was held in a vise, clamped to my bench, etc, but no luck. Help!!!

This vid should be listed as how to PROPERLY use a screwdriver I have Brownells (about $500 worth of tips and handles, plus precision sets. I can not stand to no end improper use and F'd screws and scratched equipment due to ignorance and laziness.
