@@Themachine3.0 thanks for your suggestion, I agree. I was actually provided the opportunity to do the program for free. But for those that can’t or don’t want to pay the price or even take out the additional time for schooling, they can definitely just take the test.

I’m in management in tech and let me tell you OneNote is undefeated . i too use it for personal, professional and business! . I also approach my work planning the same way. I like to go in a schedule and time i need to complete task and add anything to my teams 1/1 as well.
This is what I want to do.. I am currently in the Tech field but just applied and got accepted into the PM certification program here. Please do share any helpful things.. also is the pay good? Can this career work remotely? @whoamihealed

Yay another video! I have just recently found your channel. I have a question. I just graduated college in May, and I've just now decided to try out the pm path. Do you have to have a pmp for an entry level project manager position? I can't understand what I'm doing wrong in the application process. Thanks!
Thank you so much for being a part of my community. Yes and no. It kind of depends on the company. Some will hire you with no experience and certification but you need experience to get the PM level certification. However, you can get creative using the true definition of project to qualify per PMIs definition. Just keep in mind you want to use the definition but do not exaggerate as they do audit the application for some people. Some companies higher with certification and just experience. I hope that helps.
@elicia_cares You can also look into taking the CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) which doesn’t require prior experience but will be a great starting point for an entry level position. To Kristyn’s point, the PMP requires experience and is subject to audits. Check out the CAPM and go get that entry level position, girly! Wishing you well! ❤

I unfortunately haven’t had any experiences with SOWs. At my current company they’re handles like finance and we’re at my previous company as well. By the time the vendor reaches me the contractual obligations have already been finalized and charter is handed over to me. I wish I had some perspective on this one but have unfortunately been kept out of the loop.
