  • The left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) or closure (LAAC) procedure is a minimally invasive option to reduce stroke risk and eliminate the need for life long blood thinners as a result of Atrial Fibrillation (Afib).
In this recorded webinar that occurred on November 15th, 2022, Dr. Christine Chung reviews the reasons why A-fib requires a blood thinner and how this device implant.
There is a long question and answer session that goes over a number of the reasons this may or may not be something to discuss with your cardiologists, electrophysiologist, or even Dr. Chung.
