Hard to believe a retired trooper is so pro gun. It’s refreshing to see this in New Jersey, I feel many troopers feel this way, but dare not speak it for fear of retribution. Thanks for all that you do to keep us stuck here!
This is a great first steps. I am a former NJ resident. Lived in PA for 9 1/2 years and see y’all are in the beginning stages of where PA was when I first got my CHL. Now living in Texas we have a lot more freedom here but y’all living in NJ are headed in the right direction! Keep up the good fight! Freedom is coming!
Love it.. Been Carrying here in NJ for 3 months. Hope I never have to use it, but it is a great feeling to have a sense of security for me, my family and friends. Thank you Judge Bumb for your support.
How can a gun owner from pa be able to carry in nj? I come over to nj to go to the shore almost every weekend in the summertime. But I have to continuously leave my firearm at home and not have that sense of security.
One of the toughest decisions I made moving from a pro second amendment state to NJ was giving up my rights to carry. Never thought this could happen here an it’s happened so we should all give this channel a BIG like as well as others alike to help in spreading this info. Be an active part in any organization that is in the fight for our second amendments especially in NJ, because the anti gunners aren’t letting up, neither should we. Great NEWS!!!! Thanks for reporting.
So this means the State has been willfully violating the Constitutional rights of its citizens....for how long now?? Every one of them should have legal right to sue for compensation!
Adding a 4th reference is so unnecessary...for years it has been three (3) without a problem...not because it was not challenged does not mean it should remain... other than that I commend the Judges ruling....bravo...the fees are also outrageous...that kind of money could go towards ammo and ongoing training
This is remarkable. I think the time is right to eliminate the ban on the M-1 Carbine instituted in New Jersey in the 1950’s or 60’s. That law was crazy and needs to be ended.
Hi, I just came across this site and I was very pleased in what I heard and saw. I’m a restored Cop for NY and I really like this guy, please keep up the good work! Nick Donvito.
How is it not imposing on our 2 amendment of the constitution to charge someone for a right they are guaranteed by the constitution? A law abiding person shouldn't be burdened by a penalty for a right protected by the constitution and this is what's wrong with this Country!! All politicians and government officials should be charged with federal crimes for what they have been doing for decades!!
Got the HELL out of Jersey in 1996 w/one of the top few reasons was the draconian gun CONTROL and moved to West Virginia(retired military)w/NO "permit" required for concealed carry/open carry/suppressers/full autos hell you can hunt w/a pistol(NO .22s or buck shot!)
I moved from New Jersey to central Virginia to be near family. I lived in Nj for the first 65 years of my life, To get a carry permit was simple and straightforward .What a joy. Buy a handgun do a nics check and take the handgun home what a sense of freedom.
Thank you your show was very informative. I was watching one from Washington State generically talking about NJ. The governor three years ago took away our ability to be insured, I had insurance until then . I am a RPO and currently working I continue to do the req two time each year. I love the way the range masters give us all information about the changes. Thank you again James B Retired
Quick question, I travel to NH from NC by suv. Can I legally carry through the state of NJ without the fear of being harassed? I have a concealed carry from NC.
Wow incredible info once again.. After getting robbed 2 times after work at a restaurant and hearing the sensitive place info is awesome for me lol. This takes effect now?? Thank u for providing this...
Imagine issuing carry permits to legally carry a gun, but basically disallowing where you can carry your legal gun. lol I heard they instantly filed an appeal in the 3rd Circuit. Hopefully they wont act like the 2nd Circuit..
Thank you so much for all the Great information. I was holding off to apply for my carry permit because of all the restrictions. Now that I can carry in my car and have it on me in most public places. I will apply once again THANK YOU. Roy B
If I have a valid New Jersey handgun carry permit & get pulled over & tell the cop that I have a permit & armed I’m not reaching for my gun nor acting crazy obviously are they going to take me out of the car at gunpoint search me take me to the police station? Or are they largely going to be cool & not really care. Cops in places like Florida deal with license holders all the time and don’t do this. what should I expect?
You can make me get 30 references they are not responsible if I do something illegal. That's just a dumb request. Other then the background check and have me qualify with my guns there is no reason that I cannot cary any of my guns.
Is there any felony law for a man sworn in by the people writing laws to entrap his own people into felony charges and prison time? Just asking. U.S. Marine Senior Citizen Thank you.
Great explanation of the casinos. Harrahs did allow me to store my weapon at the front desk and ocean casino allows you to store your gun if you have a room in the hotel. But people need to check with them before they go because the rules might have changed.
I know a lot of people are asking how to add a pistol to your permit. I got my permit today and they told me that I can carry any pistol that I want. I have no restrictions. They do recommend you get qualified for whatever you want to carry for legal reasons.. took me five weeks from start to finish to the day. Certified by Crosshair Tactics.
All great and this is a great Judge. I worry about the cost and fees as they are restrictive to the poorer among us. I would like to purchase insurance as a choice not a mandate. Mandated insurance would be expensive and unconstitutional. I am concerned about the travel hubs, If i travel by train through Newark to Hoboken is it illegal in my Newark Stop? Anyway Thank you for the great summary!!!!
I had an interview today with a Sargeant and now the Chief just has to sign off and I should have my permit to carry pretty soon, great information my man, much appreciated....
We need nationwide, Constitutional, open and concealed carry. No permits, no fees, no interviews, no magazine restrictions, no suppressor restrictions.
The NJFOP has it's conference in AC. The AC Chief of Police, addressed the conference and said it was no problem for officer's to carry in the casino, during the conference.
Thanks you for the detailed information please keep it coming. Also Thank You for your service!!! I have a question during Murphy’s first term didn’t he sign into law that gun owners in NJ could not have insurance?
Steve, thank you, you are doing a great service to all law abiding NJ carry permit holders who find it hard to keep up with changes as they happen. I would hate to get, as you say, "jammed up" for not knowing. Is there an updated site that spells out sensitive and non-sensitive places in NJ?
You're welcome! The Association of New Jersey Rifle & Pistol Clubs seems to be keeping up with the court cases. They are a good source to follow: www.anjrpc.org/
In the 90's I was a registered private investigator in NJ. Back then an application for a carry permit had to be signed of on by a Superior Court Judge from the county you resided in. The only county in all of NJ where any judge would sign off was Mercer. It did not matter what reason a person was requesting a permit; it would be denied. If you worked at West Trenton you know what I'm saying. New Jersey has a long history of being anti 2nd amendment. It is nice to know there are some sane and reasonable Federal Judges. Nice job with the video. The 🐂💩 needs to stop.
Even the personal interview seems unreasonable unless there are standardized questions/scope. Can you take the 5th or exercise your right to remain silent and they deny? What if the interviewer asks “have you ever seen a psychiatrist” and you respond that’s private health info under HIPAA but you have never been involuntarily committed and they deny? There aren’t any other rights you have to be interviewed to exercise. I guess there’s an appeal process and a judge would be involved at that point for better legal basis?
Thank you for this break down. I bet you when the wrote this they are armed security carrying weapons. The fees are a joke because I paid 340 and it took 8 months to get my license during the time which I could not reach anyone in the division via phone and no one returned any emails I sent during that time. I had to call another department and they helped me. After getting my license I still am unable to get questions answered about the new CCW license via phone or email. I did my own background check for under $100 so what are the fees and my taxes for if I am unable to reach all divisions of public services. I wouldn't mind it as much if they were actually responsive. But they aren't and it's really frustrating.
Private property not opened to the public still stands as to getting permission. I'm confused as to people renting, are they to get permission from building owners or landlords?
I’m confused Your not allowed too carry in an airport or on their property But You are able to carry to drop off someone at an airport while in the car on their property, correct? What if you were to step outside the vehicle to help them recover their luggage?
More than a few people have gotten seriously jammed up by port authority, police, and their friends in Newark PD for having a checked firearm at the airport. Flying from point a to point B with a schedule or an unscheduled stop over in Newark for whatever reason you miss your connecting flight And you were made to stay overnight . You’re given back your baggage and unknowingly you arrive the next morning with your TSA certified secured firearm and it turns into the worst day of your life. BTW, the last person you should ask about jersey gun laws is a Jersey beat-cop Sorry lol Not sorry Thanks for the dBrief. I’ve watched at least a half a dozen of these since the ruling. And I can’t get enough! Getting in this fight for it to a Rights in NJ for almost 2 decades and I never thought I’d see the Day come.
My question on that how can a park be part of a school So you telling me if there's a park that's nowhere near a school And Chooses to take their kids to the park So that means that You can still be charged if they bring his or her firearm to a park and there's no school anywhere near That is unconstitutional
Steve, how likely do you think these injunctions will hold after the case is adjudicated? When you say transportation hub, does that also apply to train stations, meaning no carry at Penn Station or other train stations?
I have been told do not ever fly through New York with a firearm even if it is checked because they have been cases where federally you were good to go but the New York troopers would still arrest you for having a firearm
NJ Permit to Carry Important Topics!

does this mean it is legal to carry in all the places mentioned in this video, including a vehicle, until the case is full settled?
There should be constitutional concealed carry in all 50 states. SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED
Thats our dream but wont happen in those deep blue states
There should be so called constitutional carry all states period

Sir, thank for continuing to provide all the updates regarding the NJ Permit to Carry! Something many New Jersey residents thought would never happen!
I know I never thought it would happen but I'm glad it is happening,I should have mine within a couple weeks...
The Governor and the Attorney General need to be sued personally civilly for their INTENTIONALLY not following the Bruen decision..
They should be prosecuted for treason for violating the 2nd Amendment of our Constitution!😤👿💩💩💩💩
YES - they do not work for We the People. Read Declaration of Independence, we are there, literally!
Hard to believe a retired trooper is so pro gun. It’s refreshing to see this in New Jersey, I feel many troopers feel this way, but dare not speak it for fear of retribution. Thanks for all that you do to keep us stuck here!
I great appreciate you putting these videos together! NJ is making this so difficult for a constitutional law!
You're welcome!
What doesn't New Jersey make difficult?

Wow, this judge is amazing!
Thank you sir , 🙌😎🇺🇸
You are very welcome
Awesome news thank you 👏 👏 👏
You're welcome!
NJ permitting process…paying a fee to exercise your Constitutional Rights! Nice state to stay away from!
Adding a 4th reference is so unnecessary...for years it has been three (3) without a problem...not because it was not challenged does not mean it should remain... other than that I commend the Judges ruling....bravo...the fees are also outrageous...that kind of money could go towards ammo and ongoing training
Thanks for the update
This is remarkable. I think the time is right to eliminate the ban on the M-1 Carbine instituted in New Jersey in the 1950’s or 60’s. That law was crazy and needs to be ended.
there is a case in federal court for that. in NJ and in a few other states.
huh funny did lots of m1 carbine shoots in NJ I guess we were braking the law
Can't thank you enough for all these updates!

Yes great win. Now all I have to do is swallow a lawyer to understand it right.
Good job sir thank you for the info

Great video Thanks for the update
Outstanding! Thank you very much for the update!
Great news! And this judge is the one who will adjudicate the permanent ruling? Wow!
Steve, I always look forward to your commentary. You broke it down so well. You're awesome. Thanks so much!
Thank you. You're welcome!

They gonna keep appealing til they get their way which at this rate is never. And its taxpayer money they using so they dont care
Now judge Bumb needs to allow me to carry without carrying this stupid two page court order.
If you have an expungement record for 2007 almost 20 years ago an have an fid card. Can you still be able to get a carry permit?
Thank you again for Great Information.
Absolutely love it 🙌🏻 Thank you for breaking this down for all of us ♥️
Even with a win we lose. Why do I need anyone to agree that I have a right to carry? 4 endorsements is outrageous.
Does that stipulation still stand or did she strike it down?
Thank you so much for all the Great information. I was holding off to apply for my carry permit because of all the restrictions. Now that I can carry in my car and have it on me in most public places. I will apply once again THANK YOU. Roy B
thanks for keeping us posted
Great information, as always!
Thank you for your breakdown on the new update on what is going on in NJ in terms of lawsuits and judge Renee Bumb's decisions.
If I have a valid New Jersey handgun carry permit & get pulled over & tell the cop that I have a permit & armed I’m not reaching for my gun nor acting crazy obviously are they going to take me out of the car at gunpoint search me take me to the police station? About time.. good for NJ
Great video. Thank you for these updates!
I've traveled via greyhound. Only been through a metal detector rarely. Most including NJ stations are not staffed with security of any sort.
Thank you for all your informative videos!
You're welcome!
Thank you great breakdown !!!!
I don't live in New Jersey but in a state similar to it, California were we have almost the same bill being debated and will pass. This is great .
There are NO such thing as "sensitive places"! Carrying weapons is a CONSTITUTIONAL CIVIL RIGHT.
Great commentary! Thank you for keeping us well informed!
You can make me get 30 references they are not responsible if I do something illegal. That's just a dumb request. Other then the background check and have me qualify with my guns there is no reason that I cannot cary any of my guns.

Thank you so much for the info!!!
One question are these new things in affect already?
New Jersey Casinos are posting No Firearms on property
Hey just wanted to say thanks for info you put out. It's very helpful and you explain it it great detail. Keep up the the great work you do.
I know a lot of people are asking how to add a pistol to your permit. I got my permit today and they told me that I can carry any pistol that I want. I have no restrictions. Great job rolling through all this language. I appreciate your work and coaching. Stay safe, look forward to your next video!
Nj makes it difficult to be a legal gun owner
locking up a gun at a casino is more likely realistic in other states where they are accustomed to it.
I had an interview today with a Sargeant and now the Chief just has to sign off and I should have my permit to carry pretty soon, great information my man, much appreciated....
I was wondering if you don’t mind how long you waiting to meet with the surgeon and maybe what he asked ? I am 3 weeks in only. Thanks in advance.
We need nationwide, Constitutional, open and concealed carry. No permits, no fees, no interviews, no magazine restrictions, no suppressor restrictions.
This is one happy cowboy for now. Hopefully, these TRO's will stand permanently!
The NJFOP has it's conference in AC. The AC Chief of Police, addressed the conference and said it was no problem for officer's to carry in the casino, during the conference.

Yes, I have mine

So we can CCW in our vehicle on our person? But we also have to get a 4th reference now too?
Love the judge everyone should have the right to protect themselves. Thank you for this video keep up the good work. Pro gun, pro judge
One thing that confused me with the zoo is we have to carry within 100ft but not on the zoo property and was that the same for beaches ?
Having to interview your endorsements is ridiculous anyway. Who is going to put someone on that will say they shouldn't get a PTC.
I find it interesting that the 13 original colonies and California have the most restrictive gun laws.
Awesome !!! Thank you sir as always you’ve been very helpful
With all this great news for all law abiding citizens. Gun owners 🇺🇸😎👍stay safe everyone
transportation hubs, that will be addressed in the upcoming remainder of the case
I have been told do not ever fly through New York with a firearm even if it is checked because they have been cases where federally you were good to go but the New York troopers would still arrest you for having a firearm
I’m not sure how it it in New Jersey but I have never seen security in the parking structures of transportation locations.
