Spinnerbait is still a tricky one for me. I’ve put a lot more time in for this year. The only days I can really get it to work are when the wind is blowing pretty good and overcast. I fish pretty muddy water and don’t seem to catch them unless it’s windy overcast.
Call me crazy but never been a big spinnerbait fan. Though I own a few plus 1 finesse spinner. Tied on the finesse (purple color) river fishin. First cast i caught a nice 3 lb smallie. I now have some confidence in the finesse spinners 😂
Thanks for the tips! Some of those dinks are probably happy to make the video! Have hardly thrown a spinner bait, been red wigglering it with grand daughter most of the year🤣🤣
This spring, I used the pond magic 3/16 spinner baits, but I have not used any this summer. I am going to give them a try soon and take your advice on hitting spots from different angles. Thank you.
Ya I’m definitely one when that jackhammer came out I forgot about a spinnerbait but so far this fall I got back to throwing the spinnerbait I got turned on to this booyah covert spinnerbaits tj81 got me into those.. but my local dicks started carrying some of the strike king tour grade spinnerbaits I’ve really been liking that just the cast at times is rough the willow blade is a lil bit bigger than I think should be on there so it gets a lot of twist on the cast
I caught a really nice rock bass the other day on a little finess spinnerbait, I had the back half of a fluke on it as a trailer, that was a cool catch!!
Sweet content Debo I’ve heard some good things about cashion rods, they looked like they were up to the test in this video. Also the war eagle spinnerbaits are a great value super reliable and reasonably priced. Thanks again as always tight lines bro
The spinnerbait has been a favorite of mine for a long time. My PB smallie came on a spinnerbait several years ago in Minnesota. 5.12 Thanks for the video my friend.
Ha... a NON-Popper fish from Debo! Interestingly enough, a spinnerbait is the first bass lure I learned to use after Arbogast Hula Poppers, Jitterbugs, and Sputterbugs. I like the single hook rather than the trebles on cranks! As long as the conditions are right, spinnerbaits are great options.
Debo, great video as usual, this year I really got into spinner baits, (being as chatter bite has been non exsistant) do you think more thump than flash this time of year, or vise versa? I'm in Northern Illinois BTW..
Yes throw spinner bait help yesterday in a tournament came in 2nd place. It was strike king tour grade double willow blade been starting to heat up with it
Love love love a spinner bait, mainly because I caught fish with it. I think that turtleback blade is an Indiana blade?? Not 100% sure man. War Eagle spinner bait ftw! Thanks Debo.
Totally agree with your MH MF action rod for that spinner bait Debo. That's the exact War Eagle I have been using and still tied on. War Eagle is my favorite. By the way, it's an Arkansas product.
I have been rotating the spinnerbait in all season, and just not getting the hits. Crank seems to be the usual alt to the bladed for me this year. Thanks Debo, you are always the sunny delight of my day!
Great Video Devon and I haven’t tried a spinner for a long time. The fishing for me is done for year I think, since Helene went through and this part of Virginia is jacked up pretty bad and the River is done. I have months of clean up so I will be busy anyway and the Videos are great my friend truly appreciated all the work that goes into them.
Love those little war eagle finesse spinnerbaits. I typically use mouse, but that spot remover looked good. Wish they’d do a gill color.
Spinnerbait is what my go-to lure. It was my first confidence lure and still is.
The Kayak was a good move for you. It definitely adds to your videos being on the water fishing.👍
It has made fishing fun!

Yeah, those are good conditions. On those calm days try the underspin!
I need to start throwing a spinnerbait more often, especially during fall. Great video, as always, Debo. 👍👊

Spinnerbait was one of the first lures I learned how to use and spent all my paper route money on. I’ve always used them. So much fun.

I got a little 1/8oz I'm going to tie on for tomorrow!

Keep up the good work
Mostly bfs so my favorite is a 1/8oz stanly spinnerbait . Another one is the strike king 1/16oz micro spinnerbaits
Anything with spinning blades like spinner baits or inline spinners, always work when nothing else does
Love a good spinnerbait bite. Haven't gotten into one in a long while though lol.
Great video and information thank you

Man, the popper has just been so good it's hard to put down!
You convinced me!! Just tied on a spinnerbait for my Friday morning session tomorrow.
Get em!

Using underspin heads for fishing. They work so well and get results. Go Hawkeyes!
GO HAWKS!

Nice work Debo
A spinner bait is the only lure I’ve caught bass on… besides foul hookin one on a crank 🤦🏻♂️

Spinner bait was my second most productive bait this year. Behind the top water walking baits.
I have been rotating the spinnerbait in all season, and just not getting the hits. Crank seems to be the usual alt to the bladed for me this year. Thanks Debo, you are always the sunny delight of my day!
Spinnerbait from spring to fall, Strike King tour grade 3/4 oz slow rolling on the bottom !!
What is the best Texas rig and smaller jig rod for 150-180ish

I've got plenty of spinners, I just didn't bust them out often enough!
I’ve had luck with booyah pond magic small! Iowa power!
GO HAWKS!
@@DEBOSFishing it’s gunna be a rough year smh
@nickbruns4379 yeah, still love watching them
😂😂 fall you say?
My stupid state was 80 something degrees today
78 here and 49 in the morning
Hate to say it, but I haven’t thrown a spinnerbait all year. Bladed jig has been lights out so I always default to it. 😢
Hi Debo would you choose a Daiwa Tatula CT or a Shimano SLX XT baitcaster?
I like them both. The ct is a great do it all. The slx has a smaller more comfortable frame for most if you have smaller hands
@@DEBOSFishing thanks for replying Debo your channel is fire❤🔥❤🔥
I know that when I get bit on a spinner bait, it's going to be a good one. Still no luck with it yet, but I always have one tied on and ready to go
Never catch on a spinner. I need to try more often.
Trailer or no trailer? And what would you recommend?
I use a zako
No trailer ok this type. It's finesse and the skirt cut looks like a trailer already. I add a trailer for weight/bulk in dirty water
How much money would you say it costs to get into soft plastic bait making including a microwave in the cost
Short shorts pov
I usually charge extra for that
How about Ohio st crushing Iowa🎉😂
Man, that was an arse whoop'n
Debo is that a 7 inch or 9 inch screen?
9" screen
Great video I was throwing a spinner bait today. My only question is how long were most of those fish
Dunno, I don't measure bass
Was the kid laughing at you for hanging in the tree peeing in the lake while laughing at you?
Lol what?
@@DEBOSFishing las time we were there the kid in the background was yelling about peeing in the lake.
❤
When you going to hop on a live wirh me?
