Shark, Striped Bass and Ground Fish Tournament, 2023 Spring Point Marina Shootout in Maine.

After a few years off the Spring Point Marina in South Portland has resumed its annual shark, bass and ground fishing tournament. Jay and Ben both committed to fishing both days despite rain and thunders storms Friday and a small craft advisory on Saturday. We managed to catch and release 1 blue shark on Friday and 20 striped bass Saturday which landed us in 4th place for both categories. We did weigh in and donate on cusk just over 6lbs but it was not enough to land us in the top 3. No sharks were weighed in, so the money rolls till next year.
