  • Video on how I made pendant designs using just a straw: • 2 Terracotta Jewellery...
    Few links to the materials. Hope you find them useful. These are only suggestive, not particularly where I bought my tools. I have accumulated them over time mostly from brick and mortar stores.
    • CLAY I USE: Laguna red low fire earthen ware clay without grog. (EM106 or EM334 wards)
    • Firing (Bisque) at cone 06. (I don't own a kiln, so I take my pieces to a pottery studio close by and get it fired in an electric kiln there)
    • Wire used: Nichrome wire gauge 28 for stick beads and ghungroo beads; gauge 26 for earrings and 24 for pendants.

      You are most welcome.
      These were fired without any issues. But to your question, there is always a probability of somethings getting damaged in the kiln during firing. It depends on how you work with clay.

      It's an red earthenware clay without grog and I get it fired at cone 04-06 in an electric kiln.

      Thank you! I do get it bisque fired. I don't own a kiln, so once the beads are bone dry, I just take it to a pottery studio close by and get it done.

    As always a Great WOW!! Neha 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻very innovative designs !!.. By d way can I know d size of d Round beads ?? I feel it’s more than 16 mm or 20 mm in dia !! Coz in small beads we can’t give such Detailed impressions .. All d 3 shapes ore BEAUTIFUL 🤗

      Tough to get the same amount of work on smaller beads. May look too cluttered and untidy. These beads are "star" beads for a necklace. So I would typically use just a couple for each pendant. You can surely go down a couple of sizes but I reduce the amount of work on it accordingly.

    How to make this terracotta clay at home? Or can we get this online in Pakistan? Because i use to make terracotta clay at home but it's not like as yours it's so messy and i can't even make design on it properly

      I buy mine that's readily available . I don't make my own clay. You might want to check at your local pottery studio nearby and see if they sell moist fine clay.
