One of the best small details in this episode is when the entity passes into the Doctor, you can see how terrified he is and how hard he is desperately trying to fight back against it controlling him
This episode is so good, creating a monster that exploits the human tendency to be brutal when in scared groups. As the line from the movie Men In Black goes, "A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it."
This is one of my all time fav eps of Doctor Who!! Its truly a horrifying ep and shows that creatures can be evil but humans can be too. Love your reactions as always!
Season 4 is all high's! The stress was perfection. One of the best episodes in the shows history. Its still the scariest episode the show has ever really done. A companion light episode really surprised me but it allows the show to more efficiently film certain scenes.

@@TravisViewswill you eventually be able to post it after further editing or is it forever going to be a patreon only video due to editing reasons and/or irl situations
"Chicken or beef? I think it's both" Travis = confused. Actually saw chicken-beef burgers at my local supermarket last week, so it does actually exist as a combination apparently.
@@TravisViews O sh1t! Could you, like, give us a light on what yoy thought about it? What are your feelings on River and her ending? I adore her so much.
Easily one of the best episodes of Doctor Who. It stresses you out as you said and that's exactly what it was trying to do, they were in a rly scary stressful situation and they wanted you to feel that. Also just how fucking traumatised the Doctor seemed after :/ man's over 900 years old, he's seen genocides and space wars but that fucked him up good and proper.
Unfortunately 4x9 didn’t pass copyright :/
Oh no 😭
Is it being re-edited?
😭😭😭
Silence in the Library was the first Doctor Who episode I watched, I was so looking forward to this reaction. 💔😭

A little bit of trivia: The actor playing Dr. Hobbes is David Troughton, son of the Second Doctor actor, Patrick Troughton.

This is such a fantastic episode! The only tiny problem with it is my mind keeps going "Merlin! Merlin! Merlin!"❤💚

@TravisViews Bummer :(
I first watched this in middle school and was absolutely terrified, but rewatched it twice because I had a huge crush on Jethro
The Library two parter into these next few episodes are soooo amazing!!!! I love seeing reactions to Doctor Who!!!!

The scariest episode I've ever seen!
No episode 4x9? THe 2nd part of the two-parter?
Blocked :/
@TravisViews whaaaaat that is a d*mn shame!
Travis, react it to Merlin, please 😍😍😍
always hard to watch reactions when the video is so obscured :(
Even harder to get them to pass copyright when they’re not 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠
I love and hate this episode because it is STRESSFUL, 🍑 that's part of why it's so good! Just frightening. I'd never watch it again on my own.
His is the episode that upset me about human costuming. Where's the wracky exotic human costuming from Who Classic??
