- Restoring a 1952 Ferguson TO-30 Tractor. This tractor is family owned since new from when my grandfather had a Ferguson dealership in McMinnville Oregon. Rebuild took 2 years and thousands of dollars, not a project for the faint of heart. Engine is a Continental Z-129. The block had cracked and had already been welded when I got it. I had the pistons and sleeves replaced and the crankshaft ground. All new electical and lots of time cleaning and painting. She is a beauty!
60 years ago, my dad bought a used Ferguson "30 with a 35 kit" which he used for the next 20 some years. I loved that tractor which was plenty big enough for our 126 acres. We had a 2 bottom turning plow, a 3 pt digger/cultivator, drag-behind disc, and a John Deere No 7 sickle mower. The mower was well matched to the power of the 35 kit, and I could mow in 3rd gear with the throttle wide open. Of course, when it dropped a front wheel in a group hog hole, I nearly lost my teeth on the steering wheel! Great memories, so thanks for restoring the old girl.
She's a Beauty,Nice Save, Love it...

My 71 year old dad split 2 TO35 and made one tractor. He passed shortly after. I make sure she stays running. Something I can never sell.
