There is absolutely some truth in your statement. That's why there are a variety of programs and services the church offers. Bible study, Sunday School, choir, vacation Bible school, daycares, schools, Deacon, ushers, reverend,etc and that's from me being raised in a Baptist church. The attraction is to the pastor and how he preaches or a choir and how they sing. So alot of truth in this statement.
A pastor does not need to run a church like a entertaining business. But they need a business structure to follow. Some of the churchs might have entertaining worship teams and they can vary in styles. Even I have noticed a pattern in Sunday worship Greetings , Intros, outros. Somtimes things may not go as planned. This could be both good and bad. Let's say the power goes out or the air-conditioning. I personally like entertaining environment and I need it hold my attention. I need that dopamine rush of entertainment because I'm ADHD.
