Hi, I have listened many videos of you related to data science. Currently I am working professional with almost 20 years of experience in various fields like operations, sales support, pricing. Before 2 years I have done one course of AI but then I left because many people was telling that it is not useful for me as I am already working in other field. This is for freshers. I want to do my career in data science. Is it good for me? Can I do it? Will I get good package? Will my previous experience used full and any add on advantage if I switch my role? 18 lakhs is just CTC reality is that nobody get base more than 12 lakhs in hand even I know people who get 60 lakhs in CTC but in hand less than 12 which is quite common

In order to be a data scientist first you need to be a good software engineer which you already are. So your experience will have so value for sure. In youtube search "codebasics data science transition" you will find couple of my videos.

He may worked hard but his brand is more than any tier 3 College student.
He applied in more than 1000 companies but got interview call in only 5. Totally understand that IIT name helps but in his case it wasn't as helpful
