Hi, I have wavy hair and recently I have started CG method. I have watched many videos but nobody tells how to keep preserve the curls in the daily routine through out the day ( not in the sleeping time). I am living in delhi and there is very humidity so how can I tie my hair comfortably so that my curl pattern won't be disturbed. Mere curls sirf usi din rehte hai jis din me wash karti hu jese hi me baalo ko tie karti hu pura pattern bigad jata hai. So please suggest me what is your daylight routine (whole week) to tie your curls till the next wash or refreshing method. Please make a separate video on how you maintain your curl pattern in daylight till the next wash or refresh.
I'll try to make a video soon! Since my hair is long my hair is usually tied in a loose bun. Please see this for protecting your curls and lasting longer- thecuriousjalebi.com/2017/07/08/how-to-protect-curly-hair-night/

Shampoo and conditioner get washed out. A leave in conditioner or curl cream is MEANT to be left in your hair and is formulated that way. Products used in CG method are free from mineral oils, drying alcohols. As long as you don't apply on your scalp, apply good products and clarify regularly it will be fine
@@TheCuriousJalebi Thanks for responding Pallavi! Yeah that was my question(about the scalp). Also, can I apply deep conditioning masks on my scalp? Like that TBS rainforest moisture butter you said in one video.

For me while detangling a lot of hair sheds.in conditioner only am detangling but still so many hairs.really it's killing me.do I need more conditioner
Shedding hair is completely normal, especially for us curly hair girls as we do not wash our hair every day. On average, a person loses 100 strands of hair a day. So, you can imagine if you wash your hair every third day, it's bound to shed more as you haven't combed it for 3 days. Just be super gentle while handling your hair when detangling and it should be fine. :)
Hi. first time I watched your video. Happy . Actually I too like to have long curly hair. But in my Lakme Solon there say it's not permanent. But now after seeing your video I got hope to have curly hair. Mine is baby hair curly. I don't get curly hair shampoo. As you mentioned in Amazon, I will get. My doubt is after curly hair style is made, is that I can use only curly shampoo or I shld follow all the methods you did. PL do response. Thank you. 😘
Shampoo is not responsible for the curls- its always CONDITIONER inside the shower and styling products like LEAVE IN CONDIITONER/CURL CREAM outside the shower
Do you get hair on your fingers while detangling with it? Because I feel like that’s not normal and maybe I’m the only one with that as I have hair fall issue.
Oh I do absolutely. I know people are icky about that so I don't put it in my videos. Completely normal. If its excessive you think- then go a dermatologist and get your basic blood work checked.
Hello dear,,, mine is wavy hair which is very very dry and frizzy, what I need is to maintain wavy hair without frizz and to get a glossy healthy hair like you.so shall I use curl defining gel? Pls suggest me good leave in and curl defining gel
Hi Sherin, if its wavy hair, see my step by step routine with product recommendations here-thecuriousjalebi.com/2019/01/21/how-to-start-cg-method-on-wavy-hair/
The brand sent it to me and I've genuinely loved using it even on my face.- See there are two types of oils, light Vs Heavy, Sealing Oils vs penetrating. Mostly without making it too complicated, oil on curls can be used before shampoo (light oiling is preferred so you don't overdo shampoo to remove it) or right after your last styling product- just a few drops to give some shine and 'seal' your curls from drying up too fast.
Shampoo conditioner works for all hair types but for styling, Ashba leave in conditioner is loved by many wavy hair peeps. Gel is good too. See how to apply them here- thecuriousjalebi.com/2019/01/21/how-to-start-cg-method-on-wavy-hair/

I would like to know which products are good or better .. fiix my curls or Re'quill shampoo n conditioner ? I have been using the old shampoo's with ashba routine but i want to now switch on to fully CG friendly method.
Hi, I have started curly hair journey recently. After applying Curl defining cream my hair is taking forever to dry. Moreover my hair is looking oily and greasy as if I applied lots of oil in my hair. Not able to go out with this look. What can I do in order to get rid of the oily look? Thanks.
I want Your guidance.. I have seen all your videos. m started following CG Routine for a month. my problem is my scalp dosent produce its own oil at all... so after first wash my hairs started feeling dry. after applying oil it gets smooth n soft. bt it breaks my curl pattern. So i want to ask you can I apply oil immediately after leave in??? before styling???
I see you didn't mention any conditioner? Oils won't help frizz as such. Please add a rich, moisturising conditioner after shampoo. Add at least DIY Flaxseed Gel to style. Seal last with oil.
Your curls are amazing ... I have been practicing curly girl methods for a while now I still don't have even near perfect curls can you help me ?? I have thin hair texture with type 2C3A curl
Brush before shampooing once with some oil. Remove all big tangles and major knots. And while condiitoning, use a very slipper conditioner which makes detangling easy. be gentle then and always start with your fingers, then wide tooth comb or detangling brush (like a flexy brush)
I had 3A curly hair one year back bt it was getting too dry n very hard to maintain so i did cysteine treatment to my hair n its been one year bt still my curls are not showing up perfectly it becomes really very dry what should i do to get my natural hair back reply asap please
Hair once treated, even cysteine, may not go back to your normal hair ever. Salons use different formulations of cysteine and some make it permanent. Best way to deal with this is to cut off the straightened part slowly while taking care of your new curly hair with the tips on my blog. You can read more about it here- thecuriousjalebi.com/2017/02/22/how-to-get-back-your-curls-after-chemical-straightening-heat-damage/
I just bought Re'equil Babassu Anti Frizz Conditioner and I feel like it's drying out my hair even more (3b). What could be the reason? Please leave a reply
@@aditi1729 The conditioner alone still feels dry, but a lil bit of coconut oil after conditioning seems to tame them frizz and also does a decent job in retaining some moisture
@@TheCuriousJalebi @The Curious Jalebi After I wet my hair I just apply a handful and keep it for 5-6 minutes and then rinse it out. If it's just the conditioner, my hair will look good for an hour and then becomes dry and later frizzy. But while pairing with an oil it seems to tame the frizz a tad better. I haven't used it as a leave in yet, so I don't know how it'll turn out. Btw I don't use any styling products, gels make my hair super brittle and what I want is bouncy hair
If you do it right- gently first with fingers, then a wide tooth comb or a brush specifically meant for easy wet detangling, it is fine. It is the reason why my curly hair doesn't poof up very frizzy. If you comb curls dry everyday, it will become a frizzy cloud.
Every CG method tells not to comb the dry hair... But it is very difficult to live without combing!!! Especially when its sweating !! Feels so irritating.... What to do ??!!!
You don't need to follow cg exactly as Lorraine Massey wrote it! I comb my hair, not daily but twice or thrice a week when I have to condition and comb, style and comb. The other days, spray some water on your hair to freshen it and smooth a little gel on the frizzy sections. This is called Refreshing. I have a video on this check that

Hi, I have started curly hair journey recently. After applying Curl defining cream my hair is taking forever to dry. Moreover my hair is looking oily and greasy as if I applied lots of oil in my hair. Not able to go out with this look. What can I do in order to get rid of the oily look? Thanks.
Maybe your hair type doesn't need heavy stylers like cream. Try DIY Flaxseed Gel Instead!
@@TheCuriousJalebi thanks a lot.
I have just curl my hair (perm)... From straight hair...pls.... suggest for post care for curls
same as curly hair! Follow the steps on my blog - thecuriousjalebi.com/2019/01/28/pocket-friendly-guide-starting-cg-method-curly-hair/
Wow! That's is insanely amazing 💕
Thank you!
@@TheCuriousJalebi M using shea moisture argan oil conditioner with ash ba leave in.
is that okay?
Will try DIY
thanks for reply.
Plz....tell me some cg frndly conditioner under 200

Re.equill hairfall controll shampoo ..is this suits for dry hair??
its gentle enough- but understand to leave hair soft, that's the conditioner's job
@@TheCuriousJalebi ok😊
Please recommend a budget friendly diffuser :(
You can find options here- www.amazon.in/shop/thecuriousjalebi?listId=2VVA4Z279KOSB
Brushing wet hair causes a lot of hair fall .. any other way Pls ???
Brush before shampooing once with some oil. Remove all big tangles and major knots. And while condiitoning, use a very slipper conditioner which makes detangling easy. be gentle then and always start with your fingers, then wide tooth comb or detangling brush (like a flexy brush)

is vilvah shampoo good for oily scalp?? cuz i really wanna try it out but i feel like it might make my scalp too oily :(
Don't try this one then, try their dandruff one, it will be more cleansing than this
How many days once should v wash hair with shampoo
Well in a week, depending on how lazy I'm feeling lol, I shampoo and wash and style twice a week.
How often to do depends on you, how humid it is, your pattern and how quickly it loses pattern etc
I like before hair
Hi.. my daughter is 11 and she got dandruff as well.. can she follow this routine? plz comment
She can, just switch the shampoo to an anti dandruff shampoo. If he has very curly hair, please appply a leave in conditioner

I am very new to cgm and was planning to get this shampoo but I have read some reviews of this shampoo that it dries out the hair. Does it? :/
Nope. If you're starting out and feel scared, try any of these - thecuriousjalebi.com/2017/05/17/pocket-friendly-curly-hair-products-beginners-india/
Okay,thankyou ♥️
I just bought Re'equil Babassu Anti Frizz Conditioner and I feel like it's drying out my hair even more (3b). What could be the reason? Please leave a reply
Sameee! I had read such good reviews but it hasn’t done anything to my frizzy hair :(
@@aditi1729 The conditioner alone still feels dry, but a lil bit of coconut oil after conditioning seems to tame them frizz and also does a decent job in retaining some moisture
Can both of you tell me how you're applying it? Are you styling your hair after that?
@@TheCuriousJalebi @The Curious Jalebi After I wet my hair I just apply a handful and keep it for 5-6 minutes and then rinse it out. If it's just the conditioner, my hair will look good for an hour and then becomes dry and later frizzy. But while pairing with an oil it seems to tame the frizz a tad better. I haven't used it as a leave in yet, so I don't know how it'll turn out. Btw I don't use any styling products, gels make my hair super brittle and what I want is bouncy hair
But di, we should not brush our hair while they are wet
If you do it right- gently first with fingers, then a wide tooth comb or a brush specifically meant for easy wet detangling, it is fine. It is the reason why my curly hair doesn't poof up very frizzy. If you comb curls dry everyday, it will become a frizzy cloud.
@@TheCuriousJalebi Thanku so much di, for the information ❤
Can this be for black people?? I would love to use this..
absolutely, it works for anyone with dry curly hair
So beautiful always 💗
a hairstyle video next please😍
Will try!
I have a video on this check that
@@TheCuriousJalebi lots of love❤️ u are so amazing ❤️ literally nobody tells this as u told ❤️
you should separate your clumps after drying they are too thick
That should depend completely up to me, don't you think? :)
Beautiful 😍
