  • My latest loco for Trainz railway simulator is the GWR class 32XX 2-4-0 loco, known as the Barnums. Constructed in 1889 these fairly powerful locomotives were used throughout the GWR for most types of traffic, especially on the secondary routes. They were nicknamed 'Barnums' as they were rostered double-headed to haul the Barnum & Bailey circus trains.

Thanks! I think they are more or less finished. I'm not planning to add anything extra to them. I'm thinking my next project will be the earlier 633 class of 0-6-0 locos which were used for London suburban traffic and also, with condensing gear, along the Widened Lines to Farringdon and beyond.

@@ing4trainz ok though I've been meaning to ask will you be focusing on double framed and Early GWR standard guage locomotives at the moment

Just realised you meant my comment about the long-unfinished route! Yes, at the moment I seem to be doing 19th century GWR standard-gauge locos. Previously I have done some of the GWR clerestory passenger stock from the same period. It tends to be whatever interests me as a model at any one time. The Barnum was suggested in a comment in one of my other videos, and it was a good one to do. As I said above, the 633 class mostly based at Southall could well be next.

Hey. Can I please use some of your footage in my films? I will credit you for it.
