That is actually really intriguing how low geared it is and how it works performed quite well too light's are awesome size of it could handle some good trails great vid mate knowing crawlers are not your thing 👊
So that's a standard size servo? I already planned on getting the truck asap just because Its cool looking, how good are the tires? soft/hard/will there be any choices for different ones or will we be stuck with what comes on it? Have you confirmed how many they are making and how good do you think the part support will be? I may have talked my father away from the scx-6 for this instead (because we rc together and I can't afford scx-6). I noticed that it says up to 3s batteries but could I put a 2s in it? I would assume so but sometimes the translation software the Chinese companies use messes up.
I am a crawler fan and I'll tell you this is over priced where we live, ie you n me in Oz. They want $1500 AUD for the brushless version, you can get the SCX6 for $200 more. The problem is that there is no local distributor for RLAARLO which means when someone does sell to Oz, we get shafted. I think the SCX6 is better value when you do this comparison, once I go over 1K for a crawler, I am all in and that means the biggest I can get. There is an 8x8 but it comes with a old style joystick controller = garbage. 2K AUD and you need to still add parts. The MK-07 is great for people in the US, but for us, I think it might end up being like Traxxas where we get charged double $. I think I have a crawler that cost me $900, basic portal machine converted to brushless and then added tracks and upgraded servo. It's not the size of the MK-07 nut it's 1/2 price when you don't do the upgrades I did. These sell anywhere from $400 to $700, depends if you get the full locking front and back portals. Has 2 speed as well, mine hoons on 3S tracks. I know I will still get the SCX6, the can is the size of a coke can, I mean bigger is better right?
Yeah dude, i remember buying my first xmaxx for $1350 and now they're nearly $2k! Absolutely terrible 😞 I think the brushed MK-07 is a good price for getting a big Crawler but yeah, if the brushless model is that price, then the scx6 is a better deal!
@@MatthewSimm I only saw the 1.5K price by searching and there was 1 company that would deliver the brushless one, but it hasn't even been released yet? Xmaxx is a total joke price wise. And you can't get parts for Traxxas here, so what's the point? That brushed version fwiw can pull a ton, from their website. I have no doubt, it looks like a cool crawler, the brass inlays help make it better for gripping. I think they may be a little too late to the market, if you look on eB you will see a bunch of cheap alternatives taht do the same thing, just not 1/7 scale.

Wow! Wonderful video. It's a very interesting way to show us how the crawler climbs the mountain. Climbing in the sunset feels special!🥰

Awesome, its waterproof bro?
