- Throughout its history, the Soviet Union was committed to making the best and most capable aircraft to dominate the Western world, which especially came into light with the rise of the Cold War. Because of this desire to be better, this led the Russians to create rather interesting design concepts if you ask me and unfortunately, not all of them were able to see the light that is a service life and potentially conflict. The importance of these aircraft cannot be understated however, as some of them led to immensely important innovations in the aeronautics world. Could history have played out differently if some of these aircraft had seen service life? I leave that for you to decide....
I hope you enjoy this edit, and it would mean everything for a like, subscribe, or even something as simple as a share to a friend
Here's my Soviet/Russian Prototypes edit featuring some of the most innovative and wacky designs coming from the East!
I would also like to give a shout-out to @PaveWayMA, @MEME.DADDY14, and @B-1_connoisseur for their support and assistance in making these edits possible.
Song used: наступает ночь (Nastupaet Noch') by Мираж (Mirage)
Absolutely phenomenal!
Thanks mate, I'm very glad to hear that you enjoyed it!
Oh man, I know this took a lot of work. Great job dude! 👍
At times it definitely felt like it. Longest part was definitely compiling footage cause I've had this one planned for months as I've scoured for enough footage. Definitely worth it tho since the Soviets were horrible at documenting things, so this is like gold to me lol :)
we need to see Dawn of Innovations but a US version btw great video good music choice
Thank you so much for the kind words! That is a really good idea though and if you have any specific American prototypes in mind that you want to see featured (barring I can find footage), please let me know and I can start compiling for the future!
@@phantom_phlyer4 well if you look up x series of US planes you will find alot of experimental planes but here are some few US prototypes that you can use yf-23, x-32 and Northrop YB-49
@@phantom_phlyer4 super tomcat-21, and VFX or I will be very angry

Hey mate, thank you so much for your kind words. I hope to keep the quality coming and a new video out soon with a different style to my normal. Thanks for the sub as well :)
