If you are bothered by the little gap underneath, with S+ if you use a Stone rail you cold convert to half wall and see if that would help.
Hey Syntac, you should add like a drop pod, where you put a tek jumpad under a ceiling and set it to max strength so that it shoots you down to the ground, instead of having to jump off.

Since the day Syntac told us he eventually wanted to use the Desert Titan in order to make a platform build, I was looking forward to this video. Glad it's here after all!
I actually started this video way back in May but ran into the issue of not being able to build around the platform, then I found the command and didnt continue till now lol

For Syntac:
DO NOT USE CRYOPODS ON CREATURES YOU BUILT ON! It will only cryo-freeze the Dino, any base on the creature will be destroyed.
Ps: you should build a large house in the back right, a factory on the back left, a farm on the front right and a landing pad for your current dino on the front left.
PPS: Mek’s don’t detect platforms as land so they either slide off, spaz out, or bounce like a trampoline until it’s moved off.
I would love to see you do like “titan homes” or “titan temples” for the other two. Where you pick a map/biome that fits their vibe and do a massive build that acts as their home. With a place for them to sit and hangout.

Triangle ceilings could be used for the tek turrets, thus making them not hang over the edge. Further, perhaps you could add a design with sloped walls, roofs or pillars on the underside for a more aesthetically pleasing erection of the aforementioned ceilings. Best regards!

If someone had ever raided me with a Titan that had a castle on it, I'd probably be happy. The sheer beauty of a floating castle raining destruction across the lands is too good.
Suggestion for the front bay window area: perhaps move the rocket turrets to the inside so that they stick out of the front - and look like a bay-window gunner port. Or could try doing something in the sides like the republic gunships from Star Wars with the clone gunners, if you know what I mean
a cool idea you can do is breed a bunch of quetzals and build turrets and stuff on them and have almost little fighter jets, with the desert titan being the aircraft carrier

Castle Suggestions:
About your wyvern docking idea, you could add cubbies that drop down on the back kinda where the glass is in the workshop. Also Idk if you can do this but maybe rounding the edges of the greenhouse area so it's not as boxy. If not then maybe use the dynamic pillars on the edges/corners. Also the tec turrets might look good where you wanted them at 30:34 with dynamic pillars holding them up, or you can just put them on the wall walkways.
Hey syntac you probably won’t see this but whenever you do saddle builds you always complain about the Dino moving have you ever considered using the freeze Dino command that way they won’t move

I seriously got freaked with the close up quality of desert titan, when the video starts but seriously i like the builds of you.
Serious suggestion here, for the front of the base, I would say make the stone walls directly on the outside of the glass observatory one farther out, so that the angle of the glass thing isnt so harsh, also the fact that the majority of the rest of the walls surrounding it are flat having one thing that potrudes out pretty harshly definitely makes it look weird, but yeah if you were to just makes the walls directly outside of the glass maybe one wall farther out I think that would help a lot.
I’d love to see a desert titan with all of the auto turrets you could possible fit on it. Just imagine taking that to the wyvern trench. Also, that castle is AMAZING!
With the Titan pointing upwards and using a ramp you can make a ballista or cannon mortar
Haven’t finished the video yet but just thought I’d leave this here… maybe on the front with the windows (like the cockpit area) you could add greenhouse ramps in that middle section into the wall to make it flow better?
A great little group to hang out with your desert titan (to simulate its Swarm during the boss fight) would be the super mutated dimorphidon army you did a while back. They could follow around it like it's Swarm and would be great "protection" for the titan and base, plus since the desert titan has a Swarm it would make sense.
Because of this man, I purchased Ark for $4.99 on ps4 yesterday. I killed my first triceratops and giant turtle today!

you should add a giant trap door for the bottom for an escape hatch or to send out flyers
I think it would be cool to add a castle in the middle and it goes a bit higher than the walls so it really gives that castle vibe, it might not work though since you mentioned the build height but not sure if that is for the outer limits only. Either way, it looks really good!
Put another creature with a platform saddle on top so it can be taller ( make sure to have the correct setting enabled so they can stand on it )
Next you need to put a tiny castle on the dermis. Then a tiny dermis on the tiny castle. Then an even tinier castle on the tiny dermis on the castle on the Titan. Just keep going smaller and smaller until the server crashes.😁

Hey Syntac! Since you're doing platform builds, I had an idea that I'd love to see actually play out. Do you remember the trailer that introduced the redwood biome on the island, as well as the titanosaur? The trailer made it look so cool with basically a mobile castle assault on a tree platform base. But we know now that it's just not viable for people to actually waste the time and resources on doing that. Maybe you could get some people together and simulate a tree plat base raid with a titanosaur castle? Some cannons, maybe have both sides stick to primitive weapons and ballistas? Let me know what you think! Love the content

Nice build man, I was thinking the same thing when watching... to connect the two glass domes on the front and make it one, good idea.
I was also going to suggest you could make a circular shape area on the floor (about the same size as the towers diameter), right about where you have the S+ crafting table at the top of the stairs.... I was thinking you could build up your whole main floor 1 foundation or a 1/2 a foundation and then put stairs to come down into the circular area where that S+ table is, so you can still access the Titan, that would give you more room in your area underneath and maybe fix the gap at the top of those walls, also it would fix the issue where your floor is uneven on certain parts of the titan, but still give you acces to ride the Titan. I was thinking you could even put a Soul Terminal (or multiple) in the center of that circle area I'm suggesting and make it like a command central since this is like a castle/spaceship lol

Syntac you can get your turrets on the lip right there if you place either a big square hatch frame, metal, or place down a catwalk sideways along the wall. Or, explore what you can do with either of those in those areas, but ive had good luck with them.

This build is awsome mate! But technically you don't have castle, you just have walls... You should build a big keep in the middle to be your home(you know, throne room, bedrooms and stuff like that)
Syntac you are usually not my go-to-guy when it comes to ARK-builds but this Sir is absolutly awseome! Layout and design are perfect imo looks really cool.
Btw. most bombers in WW2 had those kinda wierd looking glas bulbs at the front and rear of the plane to make room for a defencive mashine gun. Maybe you can get some inspiration from those for your observing glass thingies....
And with the Astrocetus and dolphins you could make it some kind of a Carrier-fleet like an aircraftcarrier and all the sjips that accompany those.
The titan base was cool, but this is next level. I don't think I could do anything like this with creative mode so Good Job. I want to suggest building on the ice titan on scorched for laughs, but not sure how often you spend time on that map. Up to you.

Super tall central tower with a laser canon on top. Put holes in center of floor in all 4 corner towers , fill each room with animals that poop a lot. It will rain down poop .

You need really good healing animals like owls to keep your desert titan unstoppable. Then helper humans , dung beetles, garden, animals that launch projectiles, and animals that spawn minions, lots of compies to steal gear from any one that dares to land in the courtyard, and lots of exploding Dodos, golden Dodos, and poison Dodos, lots of poo throwing monkeys too. And micro raptors. Those spike launching Dino’s , that can shoot three types of spikes from there bodies, and more poo throwing apes 🦧

place a powered painted crystal cracker in a clear glass box under the center of each corner. so it looks like they help hold the corners up in a tek looking way.

At 19:56 the ledge gap issue, to fix it and look good id place a ceiling on the other side, and do tek lights to mae it look like a light ledge rather than a gap

Overall the flying castle came out really nicely done, and good job. The only two things I could think of that might make it look even better though would be
One to add more floor to ceiling windows to the sides/back (mainly between the two flags on either side of the gates) since you're in a mobile fortress, seems like a loss to not take advantage of the changing scenery by adding even more windows to watch the world fly by.
The 2nd one and honestly I'm not even sure if it'd be possible to pull off in a way that looks good would be to perhaps decrease the length of the back wall, creating a more trapezium shape inline with the shape of the body. Sure you'd lose interior space but it would give the castle a more organic look rather than just being a flying box
I think making an area where the flock comes out would be pretty cool, if it’s possible of course
My idea would be too build a chamber around the front of the desert titans wings where the flock comes out of, and make it look nice too obviously.

You should tame and breed plesiosaur and make a base saddle, making the plesiosaur look like a submarine or make it look like a pirate ship, and have velonosaurus that could act like cannons, and put max speed into it

If it's possible for you to do, I think a really fun new series would be a massively modded cluster series, with new maps, creatures, structures, items, etc, but still mods that are ark-like, so it's not just stuff like primal fear.
Syn you're a great builder, it would be funny to do a competition and see who can build the best the quickest.
stuff like this makes me want to buy a pc even more. not having access to even just better building mods on console really sucks

Stick the tek turrets in the observatory on the front. The entire time you were messing with that part it was giving me Super Fortress nose turret vibes, and then it would really have that. A true “Flying Fortress”. I’m definitely not suggesting this just because I’m mildly obsessed with wwII era bombers, I have no idea what you’re talking about

Since you use s plus you should use the s plus glass walls gates and windows. It just looks so much nicer than the greenhouse windows and you can change all the transparency and the edges on all the windows which is sick.
Lovely build! Idea- it could be really nice breaking up some of the stone walls with greenhouse ones.. windows so it's not all as uniform. Artifacts for lighting in the greenhouse area up front could also be neat.. and making a huge garden in there

So build suggestion for the wyverns. If it works. Large trap doors maybe as drop ports out the bottom. If the wyverns dont work the tropeos should. The tek turrets depending on how many you plan on using maybe inset them into the walls and towers?
Also are you planning one titan base building on lost island and fjodur? If so ice titan should be on fjodur.

Tek gates across the back for rear access an I think change the front glass observation decks to towers that lower down to head height with turrets either side of the head
it's locking amazing! I like the idia of the jet under the tower to, maybe whit light or somthing....
Use the S+ tinted glass to kinda match the surrounding colors between the stone tek and metal may fix the front and you can also get the astrocetus tek ram from beta gen 2 Rockwell as well
If you wanted to make the bottoms of the corner towers look more jet-like, you could possibly add some tek fabricators under there.
A war room with weapons on display, egg incubators, cloning chambers, and other futuristic stuff in it cool also be cool.

Maybe try and add some Chalicotheriums on every tower so they hit stuff out the sky which might be a good way of xp
