This wasn’t perfect but it was still very good. I think the judges did a great job getting him on the show to see where he can go from here. You can’t call yourself a coach and be afraid to take on a challenge that could pay off IF he finds his lane. On these shows, it’s ALL about the song choices. The reason Blake has been so successful on the voice. Is that he seems to have a great ear and knows how to put people on the right track for their specific voice. Which is why although country artist naturally flock to him he has won with more than just country singers! Hopefully, they’ll do the same for him!

One must have a verry good inner ear corelation with the brain to be so confident and so powerfool on high notes. As a student in music, he seemed obedient to his trainer, so the mistake of not going further in the contest is just having a verry bad teacher. Too bad for such a unique voice. Mabye Steven Tyler can give an arm to sound like that. Bravo to this untrained guy.
I would go with Tom Jones no matter what. He knows his stuff!!

I only listened to the first song and even though this guy can sing waaaay better than I could ever hope for he was lacking on the high notes, it sounded choppy. I think if he sang something that wasn’t so high pitched it wouldn’t be noticeable. I’m surprised the coaches were so impressed.

I’m not sure what’s going on, but that was not very good. He was flat and sharp and his scream is weak. I guess the bar has been lowered.
