- Hi guys,
Sorry it's been a while - uni and life has been a little stressful but as I am nearing the end of my deadlines (just my diss to submit in 2 weeks time and then a couple of final essays in 3 weeks time) I am ready to get back to making youtube videos as I have missed it so much.
Today I'm talking you through medicine work experience as I know that it can be quite stressful to find - especially during the pandemic! Let me know your suggestions too if I've missed any!

Hi tash I’m aspiring to go to medical school and I’m just about to start sixth form literally in a few days. I’m really nervous about how I’m going to organise my schedule. I’m not sure how to focus on school work and organising work experience at the same time (I get really overwhelmed very easily) any advice?

I want some help ,Can you please tell me how to include the virtual medicine work experience in the UCAS application?
So it's just the same as in person work experience. In your personal statement you need to reflect on it and write about what you learnt from it. For example what did you learn about the job of a doctor and how are you suited to that? What key skills did you learn doctors need to have and what experiences can you use to show that you have started to develop some of these skills. I can do a video on how to reflect on work experience if that is helpful?
Hi! Do you think volunteering in a dental clinic or animal shelter once a week for two months would be okay? I'm having a hard time finding other opportunities and I'm worried these aren't "medical" enough. (Two months before the application deadline but obviously I would continue till the interview date if I got one)

I would just google history of the NHS and medicine to be honest - don't spend ages learning about it though just have a general idea :) And the health section of BBC News is definitely perfect x
