Congratulaciones.

While the late great Paco de Lucia looked up to the sky while he played his magic on the guitar, Paco Peña looks down at his guitar while he embraces it because his Flamenco soul lies there.
The good days when Flamenco guitarist played real Flamenco guitars. That is a real Flamenco guitar, not the FAKES seen in modern "Flamenco guitarist" who can't even strum the real Flamenco way. It is nice as Paco Pena can play great classical guitar on a classical guitar.
It's also because of the age difference: Paco Pena is born in '42 and Paco de Lucia is born in '47. Flamenco before Paco de Lucia tends to be more traditional because Paco de Lucia started the jazzier trend in flamenco. To go even further take Juan Serrano born in '37: very traditional player, also Paco Cepero born in '42 is a more traditional player, Tomatitio born after Paco de Lucia has the more modern aire, that isn't to say that players after Paco de Lucia can't play traditionaly.
and this one too! I can't believe this vid was uploaded on 20/7/2011, and got only 259 views and 4 likes? Justin Bieber and some bull shit singer got millions?!?!
There is also a relatively famous flamenco guitarist named Juan Martin, and his classes are in english. Other great guy is the maestro Juan Serrano, he has classes in english too, I think he lives in USA nowadays. See U!
From the very start it was obvious that it was recorded from the audience, so forget about quality. Thanks to this man we can watch this and listen to it.

I studied and played Flamenco from age 17 to 65 when neuropathy overcame my hands...it is so beautiful and Paco Pena was a great modern master
How does one avoid neuropathy???
Acupunture, magnetotherapy, psykey, Biodescodificacion, Family constelations and nutrigenetics all of them gonna be useful. Grettings from Perú

This a very solemn piece. His is a brilliant interpretation. The falsetas are all his, not Sabicas'. A flamenco virtuoso. Even better sung.
