Had some luck with Reed and Sedges at Longham lakes last year. They should be coming back shortly weather permitting!

I got the Northern Diver there, so it could be good to go back with the 500mm f5.6 as you say when the weather improves for Warblers good call 👍

Cheers mate glad to see you well . Let me know when you are coming down this way. Perhaps book a weekend joint Campervan spot in the New Forest Clubsite for a collaboration. 🙂

In you description you have Sigma 500mm f2.8? I didn't quite catch why you are not using the Sony 600mm f/4, weight? Inspired me to get out to the bog meadows soon 🙂👍

Thanks I will change that Sigma 500mm f5.6 ! The 600mm weighs twice as much and is difficult to hand hold for any length of time . But glad I have inspired you to get out now the weather is warming up 👍

Nice photography, word of warning you can overload yourself with vitamin d, my wife did just by taking one pill a day and suffered toxicity symptoms.😊

Thanks for sharing, in Scotland Doctors actually prescribe it in winter . You do have to do your own analysis.
In my view it should be tested for in everyone relatively cheaply, and dosed appropriately to required levels. It is one of the major drivers of good health. Of course vitamin D is extremely cheap and would mean much less use of expensive prescription drugs in my opinion 🤔
