My Grandparents were from Poland. When my grandfather died I was 13 and moved in with my grandmother to help her. She didn’t speak English or could not read or write. She would always have an apron on and in the pocket was her rosary. I would see her many times during the day with her hand in the pocket and she would be saying her rosary. I could hear her saying it. She would kneel down every night by her bed and pray in polish. She lived till she was 96 years old. I loved her so much. Such good memories.

I loved my great-grandmother my Babici. She would pray her rosary in bed too. She lived to be 95 and I had her till I was 32 years old. I just lost my dear mother 3 weeks ago and my grandmother is still here. Please pray for the soul of my Mother . Her name is Sharon.

I carry my rosary in my pyjama's pocket, and if I happened to wake up during the night, I'll pray the rosary and by the second decade I would fall back to sleep. Mamma Mary is wonderful!❤🙏

The last 5 years was a very scary road deeply diving into new age and open to just about anything..... the things I saw and experienced father 😭....and in all my experimenting I found no peace no truth like the catholic faith. Nothing even compares. October 3rd 2021 I confessed, and renounced all of it even my reiki mastery. All at his feet. My heart and my will, my life...belongs to god king ALONE and I will tell my story and humble myself before any soul. May Christ use my experience and humility to build the kingdom 🙏

The story about the martyrs of Uganda is so moving , one was tied to a tree and skinned alive wild dogs tore him apart but never gave up his love for the Lord, then those that were burnt alive kept singing and praying..their stories are so moving you wonder if we have half the faith and trust in Jesus Christ they had...🙏🙏🙏

I pray the Rosary everyday. It's helped me grow in faith and love for Jesus Christ and Mother Mary. I can definitely say I am blessed and given Graces. Nigeria is at a trying period at the moment. So a group of Catholics ( total strangers) begun a midnight rosary via Google meet daily, where we are praying for Our Lady's intercession over the insecurity in the country and the 2023 election in which one of the presidential aspirants is a devout rosary praying catholic.
This is a confirmation from the Holyspirit for me not to give up because I was having some sort of doubt that our prayers were ineffective .
This popped up immediately I opened my RUclips this morning .

I struggle praying the rosary. My mind wanders a lot. This talk is what I need. Thanks Fr.
Get your Bible and read the passages that go to the mysteries until you have memorized them. Then when you have, picture those things at the beginning of each decade. It has helped me and I am less distracted.

Go to A site called A Catholic Minute on youtube they have many prayers including the rosary with all mysteries. It's run by a young couple with their 7 young children. You can pray along with them as they say all prayers at the perfect speed and with heartfelt emotion. 💙🙏🏿💙🙏🏻💙
Much of the story on Boko Haram is true. Some of the girls were released in batches as the priest described. Also, last month in northern Nigeria, the story (with images) was told of a group of people who were going to attack a church. Thunder struck their vehicle and set them ablaze. None survived. Miracles still happen because our God is a living God.

when we travelled to Tanzania (orphans from Mother Teresa sisters) they stopped us at customs - they checked the luggage and repeated 'this will be expensive, this will be expensive ' (taxes)though we said it was for orphans and sisters - then they pulled out some rosaries and asked what that was - we said 'it is for praying ' and pointed to heaven -they immediately let go , seemed to have got afraid, and we did not have to pay anything and could bring the clothes and money to the orphans instead ❤🙏✨

I had someone say, why do you pray to her, she is dead. I was so tempted to say so is Jesus. Instead I said try praying a rosary a day for week and then you will know why. My favorite posting is as follows: Pray the rosary everyday! Just as you feed your body, we need to feed our souls. Think of this prayer as food for your soul. Pray pray pray!

About a year ago I started to pray the rosary daily and one day after I woke up all I could smell was very significant smell of roses and I started to run around the house to look for open window because I didn't understand where is the fragrance coming from but there wasn't any open window!!! Thank you Father, You just helped me to feel less guilty when I couldn’t concentrate when I say the Rosary. I even fell asleep a few times but I know the evil one doesn’t want me to say it . Thank you for sharing Our Lady of Las Lajas. I was so fascinated by it when I first discovered it a year ago. How can anyone deny something so miraculous? Unexplainable by science. My mother would say when you fall asleep praying the rosary, your guardian angel will finish it for you! Praise be God! Yes I have those times when it is hard to get through too. If I fall asleep at night praying it, I make myself finish in the morning from the last thing I remember from before I fell asleep. I think it drives the devil nuts. Do it with your coffee or tea.

I use to Pray the JOYFUL, SORROWFUL, and the GLORIOUS Mysteries nearly everyday. And because of my back the Dr. told me never to kneel again and I stop praying for along time, then I said to myself why can't pray it sitting so I started praying again and it is hard get praying the all Mysteries again. because we all need the to PRAY THE ROSARY everyday. I want too get back into Praying the full Rosary again for all our souls need it.
I found it so difficult to pray the rosary without being distracted by other things. But since over 20 years I pray rosary daily and as the years went by, I found out that these distractions have dissapeared. When I could not sleep from distress, I only took a rosary and began to pray thanking satan for waking me up to pray my rosary.😄😄 I never came to the second decade without falling asleep. I did this several times and the devil stopped disturbing my sleep. He knows what I would do if he does that. Now I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow without bad dreams or nightmares! Rosary is wonderful. It has trully changed my life. Yes, satan hates the rosary prayers. Thank you Father for this lesson it only strengthen me to devote myself even more to this wonderful prayer.🙏🙏🙏🙏

I have always loved the Rosary. When I was a kid we always prayed the Rosary after dinner, led by my mother. Then in the 60s and 70s we were told that Vatican II had gotten rid of all devotions and we should no longer say the Rosary. My visit to Medjugorje in 1988 changed all that. Now I pray it daily. Thank you Fr. Chris for your teachings on a most beautiful and efficacious devotion.

I have received many graces. These three stand out. Two months after I began, my older brother who was given up for adoption found us. Father, I was so happy to learn about the indulgences. I was so happy that I was on board for all except the last one. The one about venial sins. I felt sad because I was always falling down every time with this one. But soon your encouragement of not giving up gave me some hope to keep going. Thank you Father. Thank you Father. And I truly believe the rosary is a machine gun for the devil.

That's true the rosary has power. I was sick when I was in high school in Rwanda and I was laying in my bed at night. That time something was chocked me until my voice was gone. I took my rosary and prayed. I said " Holy Father" prayer and I got released and my voice came back. The roommates was telling me that I was screaming so bad like I was fighting with something strong. I was really scared, then someone told us that homes we lived in has a bad spirit. From that time I prayed so hard until they moved us to another homes.The rosary is powerful. I always has it in my car and my rooms. I was a Catholic, but I baptized in 7th day adventist because my husband, but I still caring my rosary and I told .y husband no take it out of our car.God is good and knows us how weak we are. But He will still be there for us and wait when we will be back to him. He loves you and I.

Agnostic,I prayed to our Lord & Mother Mary to “teach about the mass and the rosary”
The next day at morning English mass I got those lessons in a very special way.(share another time)
After the mass my girlfriend came up to me and said “I have something to share with you” I said “Oh.. I have got something to tell you but you go first!”
At that she place in my left hand a pair of rosary’s given to her by a priest for me.
I said “you’ve got no idea what you’ve just done!” You see at the time I prayed I had a vision of my left hand partially closed with nothing in it but I couldn’t close it. This fulfilled that dream.
The third thing is the mass was on the 7/10/1997 the feast of Our Lady of the rosary.
2002 I was in Assisi in the back corridors of St Maria de Angels basilica and sat down to pray a rosary and on pulling them from my pocket they broke. No quicker that I thought how can I fix them a white dove flew down from it nest in the statue of st Francis and landed next to me. It pecked down into a crack in floor exposing something metallic. It then flew back up to the statue, I was able to pull the item out a safety pin. I was able to fix the rosary.
Finally during covid yrs 19/20 I walk around a local park and as I tried to pray the rosary my beads would break and overtime I lost 10
I tried to repair it as I had done in the past and finally sitting on my bed prayed to our Lady “if you want me to keep and pray the rosary with this set you have to help me fix them”
A few days later after my daughter’s conformation we invited our visiting novice & priest for coffee & cake. It turned out Br Mather shared with me that he made rosary’s and leather goods. I share the Assisi story and he offered to refurbish them for me.
Prayer answered.

A Catholic Minute on youtube is a site run by a young couple (with their 7 young children) and they have excellent prayers to pray along with as they say them at the perfect speed and genuine heartfelt emotion. They have an all mysteries rosary as well as all the seperate ones and they say all the mysteries to contemplate on too 💙🙏🏻💙🙏🏿💙

Thank you Fr. Chris for these two teachings on the Rosary, some new information and some review (always good to review and get a deeper understanding of anything). I find it is easier to pray the rosary in the morning, but if I end up getting to it in the evening, I persevere as best I can through distractions, sometimes taking more that 30 minutes to finally finish! Explanation of praying the rosary during Adoration was very informative. Blessings to you and all Marian Priests and Marian Helpers!

The rosary is my greatest source of peace. Sometimes when doing the sorrowful mysteries i break down and cry when i think of what Jesus suffered for my sins. And sonetimes i feel our Lords hand close around my heart ♥ and my prayers seem to eminate right out of my heart and at these times i know i have reached a very special union with Jesus 💙🙏🏿💙🙏🏻💙
