Load shedding in Pakistan is a big problem specially in summer season due to electricity short fall. So in this video I present a cheap solution for this particular problem having in any on grid solar system because system is shut down during load shedding hours solar panels gone useless.
I used TOMZN Three Phase 4 pole Din Rail ATS 220V Dual Power Automatic Transfer Electrical selector Switch for change over the PV power between two strings of solar panels and between a on grid solar inverter and off grid solar inverter.
On grid and hybrid solar systems are connected to the electrical grid and can provide a potential solution to mitigate the impact of load shedding. Load shedding typically occurs when there is a shortage of electricity supply, and the demand exceeds the available capacity. Here are some another ways in which on grid solar systems can help address the issue of load shedding:
Grid-Tied Solar Systems with Net Metering:
Install a grid tied solar power system with net metering capabilities. Net metering allows excess energy generated by the solar panels to be fed back into the grid, and the consumer receives credits for this surplus electricity.
During times when the grid is experiencing load shedding, the solar system can't generate electricity and can not provide power to critical loads in the premises. therefore another solution is Hybrid solar systems.
Backup Power Systems:
Integrate an energy storage system (such as batteries) with the on-grid solar system to store excess energy generated during periods of high solar production.
In the event of a power outage or load shedding, the stored energy can be used to power essential appliances and maintain critical operations.
Hybrid Systems:
Consider installing a hybrid solar system that combines solar panels, energy storage, and a backup generator. This system can provide continuous power during grid outages or load shedding.
The solar panels contribute to power generation during normal conditions, and excess energy is stored in batteries for later use.

Aamir bahi is the most talented technation of pakistan
Assalam o Alaikum, Tomzn TOQ5-125/4 ATS and their variant models for both 2 pole and 4 pole are designed to work for AC current only. They are not designed for the DC. So you should not provide the DC current output from PV panels as an input to ATS terminals. Your design configuration may work for some time, but I think it will likely result in causing damage to the equipment at some later stage. The product details available online also depict that this product and its variants should NOT be used with PV panels and inverters. It is to be only used for AC input/output equipment/setup. Stay safe!
But it’s magnetic coil on both sources is getting a 220V AC current only it’s contacts are getting directly PV input which is DC. Is it still not safe?
@@AB-rz2kuATS is designed for Alternating current (AC) that is why the manufacturers have instructed to use it with AC power sources only in case of interruption of primary supply. Product data sheet also provide complete details of its usage. Do little research, things will be more clear to you as it is difficult to explain the working mechanism in a post. So, it should Never be used like this gentleman is using it. Stay safe!

Amir bhai this is an AC ATS, for low DC voltages it works, but in High DC voltages switching it possibly causing problems. Please use DC ATS.

Very valid point @AJElectric ... Hm ye b try kr skte ke hmari max voltage 250v DC se zyada na jaen.. Mtlb max 6 panels use kren..
Some delay is required between switching and solar solar current flow in to off grid inverter otherwise it is likely to produce high spark thus damaging ATS terminals, I suppose. Practical checking or experiment is necessary. Please give feedback if any one does it. Regards.
