When I moved to the town back in the 60's aged 10 those distinctive red and white double decker buses were everywhere. The town seemed more vibrant back then, or is that just my rose tinted spectacles? And that sign shop at "Binns" these days folk have to shop in "Bins" Its a sad refection of the times we are now living in.
Great to see Mrs. Gowland and her younger lad Keith again.
Brings back some long time ago memories.
Great upload.
Nice footage of the West Hartlepool Corporation crimson buses, and a blue Hartlepool bus just sneaks in too.
